I think you are misinterpreting what people are saying. They are saying that when you vote a president who doesn’t care so much about the lives of the people he is leading as evidenced by his reactions in previous kidnappings and even by treatment of known terrorists, the implication of that would be that terrorists will be so emboldened that they don’t even need to cover their faces anymore.

Yes you are right that we are all free to make our political choices but there will be consequences of those actions and then people point out these consequences, they are not wrong. They are only stating the obvious.

If it gets to the east and someone I support doesn’t address it I will call him out and encourage people to not vote him. There should be consequence for inaction. I have done that in the past.
