Well, APC just gave itself away. This validates those who have opined that the incident in Oyo was engineered to sabotage Seyi Makinde's presidential campaign. Unfortunately, "when it comes to issues of insecurity, the bulk stops at the president's desk". That's a direct quote from Tinubu to Goodluck Jonathan.

Instead of the presidency to work with the state government on how to rescue the kidnapped citizens, they are throwing words with the governor.

FG control the security architecture of the whole control, cos there's limitation for the state government on the securities.
So only Amotekun with dane guns will face terrorists with AK's and RPG abi.

Not sorry to say those that surrounds Mr. President doesn't wish him well o, they are not giving him better updates and advise.

The truth of the matter is that Govornors are just chief security officers of their state on paper. And that is the truth. Even with that,I don't know of other state o,in Oyo the security agencies are well funded and it is in public you should Google it.

Oyo police have gotten more than 300 vehicles since 2019. And a purchase of two helicopters which is currently being assembled at the Airforce in Lagos. You can Google it. Still yet,the Govornor cannot still order the police around. They have to get orders from Abuja. That is what we are saying is wrong

The Govornors are like a Man with no teeth and you give him meats to chop. You want to solve insecurity,give us state police then you can blame the Govornor of any state. But for now,all the Govornors can do is to furnish the national police who still won't take orders from them until from Abuja yet Abuja is currently playing politics with insecurity

P.S. I guess you have forgotten an episode of a police officer in public embarrassing Sanwo Olu and telling him he doesn't take orders from him. He even told him he can't call his boss that he can only give the Govornor his boss number for he Govornor to call his boss and then his boss will call him. Were you not in Nigeria then or you didn't see it?

If such can happen in public do you know which will happen in private? So leave sentiments apart and tell tinubu to do the right thing as that is what can solve insecurity and not this current one we are doing

You will get your state police certainly we all want it but that cant be before the next election because the logistics and administrative chaos will be a disaster......you need an enabling framework to effectively set up law enforcement units in a state and you need funding,even if you claim oyo is capable, several other states arent,the fg needs to find a way to balance this out and thats no easy task that can be enabled by mere presidential Fiat.

The FG is just footdragging and it is all because of politics. Everything tinubu wanted to do he has always done so why is this being footdragged? He has the more than majority in the house,all he needed to do is to send the bill to the house and it will be voted and granted and areas where there will be issues will be deliberated on

But almost 4 years in his administration nothing is being done. Trump might be a crazy fellow,but he is pushing forward to his agendas and plans 100 percent without being bothered about who's ox is gored

So what are we saying? It is all because the president isn't serious and does not want to offend the North while playing politics with human lives.

A whole 4years doing nothing when it is first term they tend to try and do things while their second term for most is majorly for frivolities
