It is not, if it were Peter Obi the situation will be worst than this.....
You're already in Hell.

That is exactly what Psquare was talking about.

I really don't know if you guys think you are always smarter than others all the time or you are invincible.

People will be pointing out something obvious, glaring, but in your own wisdom, all what they are saying are nonsense.

You keep on repeating same obsolete methods for decades which never worked before yet still miraculously thinking it will make a difference in 2027.

Make una continue, you shall all sleep on the bed you have been laying
You that are sleeping on the bed you have already made ,why are you vituperating and looking for who to channel your misplaced anger on?

2027 is on the way,go ahead and make the same choices you've made and later come back here looking for who to pour your frustrations on.

So, how did the okoye fella know those kidnapped in Oyo didn't vote for obi? Or, obi didn't get any vote from Oyo State? Or he just sees any Yoruba and conclude they voted Tinubu (projecting himself, since he voted for obi because he's is tribesman)? These people "tHaT dOn'T vOtE bAsEd On TrIbALism" are very confused and funny at the same time.
Obi got 100k votes in Oyo... A whole 100k in a Yoruba state, yet they are making fun of the people in the state.

He would not do so if those victims are Anambrans, I can bet anything.
What's wrong or immoral or even tribal in pointing out that poor electoral choices can have dire consequences?

If Peter wasn't an Igbo person, if Peter was say a foreigner, would you lot have also interpreted that as an inappropriate statement?

If Tinubu wins again does that mean the people of South-East losthuh

No be me and you dey see the same shege. . .

But sincerely speaking south-west is seeing shege promax more than South-East.

Its a pity

Is this the first time Peter Okoye precisely has been reckless, tribal about issue. Make una continue

Does he mean that the Chibok people also made wrong choice to have voted for Yaradua and Jonathan!

Seems that some people do not reason before talking or posting things online..

The pictures posted about victims of insecurity weren't only pictures from Oyo state. Oyo isnt the only part of Nigeria facing insecurity. In fact, there’s no part of Nigeria that isnt currently hit by the unchecked wave of insecurity, and the insensitivity of the government on this is so loud.

ELECTORAL CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES!!!

This a clear, unambiguous and morally sound message to all Nigerians. And no, this isn't about Oyo so stop trying too hard to tribalise it by making it about Oyo.

Penguin2:
One thing I have noticed about Tinubu supporters, especially most of those of his ethnic stock, is the fact that they would rather look for silly things to diffuse attention to rather than say the truth and hold government accountable.

Since the Oyo kidnapping happened, not once, I mean, not once has this people called out the government for its failures. For heaven’s sake, even in our constitution it is stated there that the primary responsibility of government is security. It is when people are secure that you will build infrastructure for them. It is a secure people that will stay alive to enjoy the benefits of a repositioned economy; since that’s the only thing Tinubu supporters have accepted he achieved.

However, rather than hold Tinubu accountable for failing on this basic task of ensuring security for his own kit and kin, his supporters are rather looking for who posted what, and who retweeted what?

And I ask… the posts you are vituperating about, are they wrong? Or you simply hate hearing the truth?

Now, to the post you people are saying it’s mockery of Oyo kidnap victims, how is it mockery because I can’t see it?

Peter Okoye simply made a post recognizing people’s right to choose their preferred candidate to vote but stated however, that everyone will be held accountable for their choices and that choices have consequences.

Now, someone responded in agreement to him and attached the pictures of the Oyo Kidnap victims plus other victims of mass slaughter by bandits as a direct consequence of the choices some people made in 2023.

Now, I ask, where is the mockery?

Is Peter Okoye wrong to state that choices have consequences?

Or the respondent who attached pictures of victims of banditry wrong to attach those photos as a direct consequence of the choices some of you made in 2023? Is it not?

We had different candidate who dwelt heavily on how he was going to end insecurity and ensure that every inch of Nigeria is accounted for but you dismissed him and went for someone who didn’t even say anything about what he would differently from the Buhari administration regarding insecurity.

Now, people are telling you that everything that has happened in this country since Tinubu was sworn in 2023 and the things happening now, are all direct consequences of the choice you made in 2023 and you dare call it mockery?

Is it mockery or you’re just too dishonest to accept the truth and make amends?

And what I find most heart wrenching is that Obembet who made that post is supposedly a MOD on this platform which is pathetic.

I will conclude with this…. In 2014, prior to the 2015 general elections, over 200 children were kidnapped in Chibok, Borno State. Tinubu, Buhari and all their lackeys championed the “Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG)” campaign against the Jonathan government until it became a global phenomenon drawing the attention of Michelle Obama and other American celebrities.

Was that act mockery of the Chibok girls or genuine outrage and desire for a change of administration to someone who could do better?
Keep on mocking us in our present predicament, we have the thick skin to absorb it. Bring all the foulest imprecations to shame us because our son's head was cut off in the bush by the demons from the pit of gehenna, it is your time to shine, shine on.

But my question is when did our voting rights become the determinant of terrorism in Nigeria, which has been plaguing the nation since 2011?

And going further, what gave you and Peter the assurance that when we support your townsman in politics to rule over us, the terrorism will suddenly disappear?

Therefore, continue to mock us, this one will also pass. And when we cross to the other side, we know who to trust, and who to be decisively pushed out of our optic.

I even like how they're diverting the attention.

Soon terrorists actions in their region will be just another Saturday. People will no longer even bother to click the link.

And by the way, any one that wants to protest should enter bus and travel to their region and protest there.

And state governors should secure cour orders limiting the protests to a school field.

First to do dey sweet.

What you lots in Nigeria supporting Tulumbu doesn’t know is what good governance and a working system looks like… so continue nursing the snake 🐍 called bulaba… it’s already in oyo… just few kilometres approaching your place in iragbiji…. I warned some of you in 2015…. Buhari would’ve performed better but his association with bulaba spoilt his governance…

Would that prevent more kidnapping in Nigeria. THINK BEFORE YOU TYPE

Was the post made by Obi? Was the post fake? Why are you guys like this? Tinubu is the one digging pit for himself instead, for his inability to nip insecurity in the bud.

Obi will get even much more votes than he did in 2023 in most places with the attitude of this inept government of tinubu. Someone who knew how to protest against Jonathan's administration over the same issue but kept quiet when it got to his turn. That's cowardice and wickedness and people who will vote arent animals but parents,.mind you

You should listen them to prove your point not asking me.. then ask the governors what are they doing to protect their states.

What context are you talking about? Electoral choices have consequences, and the truism of this statement cannot be wished away on tribal or political sentiments.

If i hire a mechanic to fix my car and they end up damaging my car, it wouldn't exactly be smart of me to keep pushing to re-engage the same mechanic. If I do, then i don't think there's any wrong if someone reminds me that my choices can have consequences.

Meanwhile, the victims shown in that post aren't only victims from Oyo; those pictures cut across Nigeria, and there's literally no part of Nigeria not feeling the current wave of insecurity. So, why is this being turned to an Igbo vs Yoruba tribal issue?

Regarding the key message on electoral choices having consequences, whilst it's a valid piece of advice relevant to ALL Nigerians, you can't deny the fact that it's more relevant for any person or group of persons who statistically are more likely to support the continuation of the current inept regime.
