Incognito403:It's not about Tinubu 2nd term. The Govs know that they've not been doing well for the populace. All attack has been against Tinubu at the center while the Govs were living the life of emperor in their respective state. It's their proposal and it doesn't emanate from Tinubu. |

Giving the prevailing economic conditions, minimum wage should be in the range of 200K to 250K! Some states are already paying 100k, so what's the difference? If government truly want to cushion the effects of the high inflation rate on workers, minimum wage should be raised to at least 200k. Nigerian workers are currently the worst hit by the high cost of living in the country. Traders have since increased the prices of their goods. Artisans have equally increased prices of their services likewise transporters increased transport fares. Landlords too have increased rents by over 300% in most places, yet civil servants still earn peanuts! NLC and TUC must fight hard to get the minimum wage raised to at least 200K before next year's election! |

Tareq1105:Are the governors in charge of security? Most governors are more confident of second term than presido. |

Sequential adjustment is the problem for top civil servants. Its not just about giving 100k to the lowest newly employed and adding only 5k to those on higher levels. My level should have like 700k salary based on Sequential adjustment. |

Realistically, it should be 250k taking into account hyperinflation and fuel subsidy removal knock-on effect increasing expenses across several living cost for Nigerians. Yet government and private sector cannot afford that so increases like this, if they arrive frequently as the economy improves, will help Nigerians considerably and improve their quality of life. |

There lies the biggest scam ever. It means nothing when an increase in minimum wage doesn't cut across all sectors and this increase also comes with an increased inflation rate. |

If dey leave road land infrastructure, then use the money to be paying subsidy, na una go still cry say bad roads bad infrastructure bad govt. Politics of hatred is not good, even if ur candidate that u like later entrr, the way you are wishing the opponent u are not supporting bad, there opponents will also wish urs bad too. So at the end who suffers? Ordinary Nigerians |

Gboss247:Minimum wage does not raise prices of goods and services the way increase in fuel prices do. The major driving forces that seem to raise prices in the markets are increased fuel prices and the exchange rates of the naira to dollar. |

dre11: If implemented, will only end up making the prices of things go up too. Rather, they should focus on improving the economy. |
