Why not invest your money into poultry (layers to be precise)? If you're not an expert in the field, get a consultant to help you with it and you will thank me later. It's part of what I do currently and I never for a day regret it. Animal care started from just a room and now,he's an household name. |

Roseodd:18 to 20% of 7 millions is around 1.4Millions, I don't know what you are expecting. Personally I will put 50% that is 3.5 into T-Bills, 35% into stocks, 15% into cryptos. Note: This is not an advice |

And another thing is if I should put that 7million naira will the 1.4 be paid to me upfront [/quote I did it over 10 years ago can't remember exactly now but I think your paid quarterly..just divide what ever your expecting annually into 4 parts.. Bro am curious how were you disciplined to build funds to 40M then started losing it to gambling ? Was gambling part of the method you used to build funds? did you just get into the gambling after you made money else where ? Then lastly why don't you invest back into what helped you raise that amount of money in the first place ? |

With ₦7m, you’re choosing between active business and passive investment. They give you completely different things. Here’s the straight breakdown: Option 1: Buy a mini bus – “Danfo/Coaster” business Pros: - Higher potential return: A good mini bus doing Lagos/Abuja routes can net ₦80k-₦150k/month after fuel, driver pay, repairs, and agbero. That’s ₦960k-₦1.8m/year = 14%-25% return. - Asset: You still own the bus, which holds value. Cons/Risks: - Headache: Drivers run away with money, accidents, police, breakdowns. It’s a full-time headache unless you have a trusted manager. - Capital risk: One bad crash or engine knock can wipe ₦1m+ in repairs. - Not passive: If you don’t watch it, the bus will eat your money. Option 2: Buy Treasury Bills – “safe money” Pros: - Safe: Backed by CBN. You won’t lose your ₦7m. - Passive: Zero stress. Interest hits your account every 91, 182, or 364 days. - Current rate: As of June 2026, 1-year T-bill is around 21%-23% per year. ₦7m would give you roughly ₦1.47m-₦1.61m in 12 months. Cons: - Your money is locked in. If you pull out early you lose interest. - Inflation: If inflation is 24%, your real return is almost zero. You’re preserving money, not growing it much. So which should you pick? Go T-bill if: You can’t monitor a bus daily, you hate stress, you might need the ₦7m back in a year, or you already have another income. It’s peace of mind. Go mini bus if: You have someone 100% trustworthy to run it, you’re okay with stress for higher cash flow, and you can afford to lose ₦500k-₦1m if things go wrong. Don’t put all ₦7m in one bus – leave ₦1m for repairs/buffer. Middle ground many people do: Put ₦5m in T-bills for safety, use ₦2m as down payment + buffer for the bus. That way you have passive income + active income without betting everything. |
