Good installers here need to post their works here for proper recognition and patronage. |

Thank you. I am going with an external Lithium battery charger while the inverter will be used to draw power from the battery. One of my objectives is to have something I can scale in the future if needed. Drgreatone: |

bassdow:Are you not sure of your work? When we talk about batteries. We make reference to valto and mrreed. Who can reference you as a very good installer if you do not show your work? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by adrusa: 10:30pm On May 31 |
adrusa:This is the simple and straight forward question that I asked about the Sachet inverters @Valto advertised. A simple response stating their actual continuous powers would have been adequate. Rather, he became adversarial and started offering duplicitous explanations that left a lot to be desired. And coming from him was a great disappointment. This is someone I bought a battery costing about N1.5M from. I also have a brother who has at least two of his batteries. So, I had some implicit confidence in his business ethics believing that he will offer a straight answer. I have no issues with some of his friends who are mostly scammers roaming around this forum fearing that one of their common scams is being busted. How in God's name will anyone be defending that it is okay to advertise a 1500W inverter as 3000W because that is what the manufacturers call it, even when the manufacturers usually indicate on the inverters or the manuals what the continuous nominal powers are? It is NOT EVEN TRUE that all sachet inverters are advertised with their peak powers as @mctfopt rightly pointed out. I have at least 4 sachet inverters in my house. 3 are from Aliexpress and are labelled with the peak power ratings. The one that powers my home lab is bought on Amazon an it carries the proper power rating. (Picture attached). That was why I asked if the ratings @Valto advertised are normal or peak ratings. I was actually looking at buying the 6000W one ONLY if it is the true rating. I had no intention of running anyone down. I asked a sincere question to help my purchase decision and it is sad that @Valto allow his fans to turn a simple clarification into accusations and insults.

adrusa:i bought from Aliexpress(Chinese) too, am not the producer , Chinese rates at peaks. so in your opinion ,i should print another label in Nigeria and market to suit your belief?i always tell any potential customer that the real watts is half. btw, have u tried calling out the chinese u bought 3pcs from ![]() |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by adrusa: 11:34pm On May 31 |
Valto:The bolded is all you needed to reply to my straightforward question. It does not even need any further explanations after that. I only grumbled about the practice in response to @bassdow before you and your fans unleashed the real shenanigans. It is ironic that the only reason we patronize your battery is because you sell actual rating as opposed to some of the bigger companies, but here you are, defending fraudulent practices by Chinese manufacturers because you are reselling their inverters. Actually, you have eventually answered my question and I'm okay. Unfortunately, next time anyone still advertise sachet inverter that I'm interested in, I will still ask if the power rating is the real rating or the fraudulent one. As far as sachet inverter is concerned, it is a question any enlightened person will/must ask. |

Sincerely speaking, this thread had recently defeated its purposes. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 1:15am On Jun 01 |
Deluxe8000:You very very Right BUT it mostly comes down to ma way of accessing things. I'm more of a Show result person. Rarely would I outsource a project to someone just because I saw pictures of their work especially knowing very well that anyOne could copy such. It's like websites / apps, I could send you a url / screenshot claiming to be the designer / developer when in essennce, I wasn't but you got no way of knowing that and since most of we Nigerians lack common sense, I win. Now If I were the client, would ask you put a specific word on the footer or somewhere a visitor could see it as proof you even have access to it to say the least. Yea I know I would be loosing out on lots of potential clients who want solar related works done BUT that's just ma way. mayBe if abroad where one needs permit to qualify for certain roles, would bother myself BUT here, any dick and harry can post shiny pictures of things they got no atom of idea of. I know packaging works BUT glad I can afford not to do packaging. I see work, I do else I focus on building and developing websites / mobile apps / hostings , etc. I focus more on what works, not the noise and hypes. If I were building batteries or inverters, surely I would post pictures because those are actual pictures that people need see samples of |

it has 100%, why is someone picking fights with a retailer who has not done otherwise in regards to product details/descriptions (as made by the manufacturers)? looks like someone is facing problems in his real life and needs someone to vent on. dollarnaira: |

hardeycute:You guys need understand neither @Valto or @adrusa is Wrong. They both are right. It's just context. And no one can outrightly blame @Valto because KVA is the rating at which inverters are rated and often refered to. But then when you look at things from @Adrusa angle, you would understand his point also especially if you've been a victim one time or the other. e come be like say I over responded to his question. Initially didn't want to respond BUT after several hours and no response from @Valto, I responded. This thread would continue looking like it's lost it's value to people who fail to see the thread for what it originally was believed to be: A place where people get to Share and Learn. It's one reason I was totally against those that were littering the whole place with ADVERTs + those who only push information that suits their aims. You can't see me go to market section and attack people for trying to make money Me don talk am since say I stopped recommending sachet inverters since their cost of acquisition became high enough to not be considered cheap. Yea there are better ones BUT those ain't cheap and when you consider their low probability of repairs, You understand me especially if you poor like mua. |

Deluxe8000:Normally, nothing beats word of mouth / recommendations from past clients BUT in todays world, that's too easy to fake. And don't expect anyOne to agree He / She ain't a good one because all of us are Good Experts until we ain't. Na just hustle + packaging. It's one reason despite doing installations myself, often suggest people have some knowledge themselves so as to be able to supervise their work as a lot of us go chop you so tey work go suffer. Coming online to share pictures wether yours or not says nothing BECAUSE at end of the day, we mostly only show to people what we want them to see. I know I could be loosing out on not sharing pictures of solar related projects and installations we've done online BUT you wouldn't expect I play same game I don't believe in. |
