Can A Trader Like Peter Obi Defeat Insecurity When A Major General Couldn't by youngEmelex(op): 12:53am On Jun 02
Buhari's government announced that it has technically defeated BokoHaram in 2016. This claim was both true and false. True because BokoHaram attacks reduced drastically and there was nothing like bomb blast in churches and parks anymore. False because BokoHaram continued to maintain their bases in lake Chad basin and Sambisa forest. Buhari who was once a commanding officer in the military couldn't push BokoHaram completely out of the country so how then can Peter Obi a trader achieve such feat? Does Peter Obi have what it takes to restructure the military or will he secure our borders using any strategy different from what we have seen so far. Will he deploy drones that can track terrorists movement through thick forests or will he import foreign machineries? Hope we are not going to see another massive failure in the fight against insurgency after all these speeches he is delivering. I think he should try and secure the votes he will get this time around before talking about securing the country

How can PMB defeat his foot soldiers he used to blackmail and overthrow GEJ.
Abacha said any insurgency that last beyond 24 hrs; the government of the day has hand in it.
Give US or Israel contract, this nosense will end and carry out screening of our security personnel that has been infiltrated with repentant terrorist and other compromising personnel.

I think Peter Obi will be another Jonathan.

If you have read the book, animal farm by George Orwell, you will understand what is happening.

What you’re doing is called fear mongering. But Nigerians have seen enough bloodshed and insecurity to sit tight on a failed leader and be speculating on who will be better or not.

Advanced democracies like the UK and the U.S. don’t do this nonsense. How many times has the UK changed prime ministers in the past few years while trying to get it right?

Because of Biden’s failures, Americans elected a man indicted by the court. That’s how unforgiving democracy is designed to be if you must see progress

Not some armchair critics who want you to remain with your failure because of their hate for a particular group or candidate

What Nigerians are doing is to take back power into their hands, and give it to whoever works for them, and as long as they can take back that power from politicians, all these nonsense will not stop.

Continue with your fear mongering but you’re wasting your time, it’s too late because people are mobilizing for the fight of their lives and their future.

There is no need to rage bait or insult.

Can you have a civil conversation?

From all indications, people like him can’t even be a local government chairman or any tangible position judging by his time as a governor, virtually everybody in anambra was cursing him. Time he was supposed to use to develop the state he was playing bitter politics, attacking oppositions, call his opponents, Yoruba candidates . With numerous problem plaguing anambra you decided to put the money in fidelity to be yielding intrest for your family and make you turn to deceive your people that you are saving money for them??

The people sponsoring insecurity re not soldiers. They’ve buisness men. Soldiers are pawns.

A business man will do anything to protect his business. Nigeria is the presidents buisness.

Remember it was his tenure that they kidnapped and killed a former deputy governor of Anambra. Terrible times.
