I don't think they know and if they do, it will surely reflect in their behavior

I once had a friend who asked me on how does it feel like when someone is hungry? . Meaning since the dude was born,he has never been hungry . Omoh,I just weak when I heard him. Cuz people like us who were born and bred on the ghetto street certainly understands how and what hunger feels and looks like.

Reason why im raising them on a ranch own by them but they dont even know, schooling in one of the best school in Ghana[ public school though]. no holiday trip for now. told them, their waec result must be ok so i can get them scholarship to canada, they read like something else now. the school fees will be paid by trust account i already set up in the states now. sometimes i told them i would be going to nigeria, our home country and me and their mom would be all over places, meetings, business, tourist. most importantly, they are great kids and well behaved.

Well, I don't know if you just started ur life as teenager, or you opportune to have gotten rich early, if it's later, you are one of examples, Op is asking of. ...........if they know how luck they are.


Meanwhile, if you not yet rich,.... You will soon realize, working smart not always guarantee riches.

Engineers, medical doctors, professors, business minded person, entrepreneurs footballers, artists....... people are into above professions and still struggling financially and some are into them making waves.

You can't be aware of something you've never been through, people whose dads pay them salary think its normal, us wey our dads no sabi anything about us go dey see am like say na comic book, especially when you don't have people to run to with your problems, they don't even know what struggling and being hungry feels like.

Even in the ghetto, there are levels to poverty. Some are worse than others. Life is not the same for everyone. People will be quick to say “variety is the spice of life,” yet hate to acknowledge that not everyone will receive the long end of the stick.

I am from a privileged home. I do not feel lucky. My life is normal. I’ve never known what it is like to suffer. My mother tried simulating the condition when we were kids. She gave up when she realized the effort was pointlessly futile. My father rose from poverty. Me and my siblings are the first set of old money (dad’s money). His fear of poverty is what motivates him to stay rich. As for us, we built from there.

You fail to realize that anything in abundance is usually taken for granted. You are judging their lives based on material wealth. One of the billionaires you mentioned has an autistic son. At your level you consider them lucky just as Adeleke will be dreaming and imagining what's like to have the wealth of Jeff Bezos. Such is life.

Focus your time and energy only on what you can change. Every starting point comes with pros and cons. It is never about your situation but what you do about it.

But money matters isn't part of what they are depressed about. As for poor man, everything including money matter will make them depressed.

Lucky does not always mean or equate to happy but yes they know especially in a country with plenty suffer and overhype for material things. Yes!
