It matters since the 300 leaving to Ghana's home affairs said only had 10 legal among them, whereas the group that was at the police station was a completely different group of people in a different province. One can assume that those looking for help from the police were legally in the country.

Yes, as I said why would people who are undocumented run to the police station? I can easily see how most of that 450 where legally in the country.

If you are undocumented and go to the cops even to report a crime, the cops will detain you.

But they're not going to detain you if you leaving the country. Instead, they just ban you from returning.

In reality only rich should migrate and poor should remain in their government and their government should look after them.

The SA economy is stagnant so government are under pressure and will find any way to reduce and deter migration because of so called limited resources. I say so called because the distribution of wealth is concentrated in certain segments of society.

In the long run you are better off somewhere else. It will take at least another decade for things to turn around if they will.

Your government will relocate a majority of the foreigners out of your communities, and they will form a parallel class within your system with schools, hospitals and an economy. You will grumble a lot but will have no "additional" excuses going forward that the foreigners are the reason for your hunger.

Around 0.5 and 1.1 nigerias was 3.4 and 3.9. i all ready knew this. But GDP per capita was the facter i was looking at. It matters since a growth there means people gernarly have money where in Nigeria you have money but no one can actually touch it since only a few suer rich have it.

It's why South Africa has high education budget than Nigeria and why Nigeria has had to borrow money from foreign lenders to pay the bills. Those lenders then force Nigeria to scrap the fuel Subsidy and devalue the currency.

One country is far healthier than the other Dangote is not all of Nigeria.

Maybe they should, I mean, Rwanda has. Though the UN actually gives a country money for refugees under certain conditions. Pretty sure DRC refugees qualify

South Africa even gets money for some refugees, but not for illegals. One of the big reasons there being so many illegal and unregistered people is an issue.
