Good observation, that's why investors like Robert Kiyosaki don't invest in stocks and don't advise people to invest in stocks. According to Robert Kiyosaki, every stock market across the globe is a play ground for finanacial manipulators.. You might agree or disagree with Kiyosaki, but he has a valid point. Before the shares of any company is transparently disclosed to the general public, the main profits had already been shared amongst insiders themselves.... I always laugh when people are trying hard to hype upcoming Dangote shares... We are waiting sha Bluearrow: |

Hmmmm Do all you can to avoid Quatum Zenith if you can, I had a very bad experience with them.... I assure you that you will never be happy with any move you make with Quatum Zenith, they are completely ruled out. Na waoo, but why Quatum Zenith when you have far better and efficient fund managers in Nigeria? mayDtolu: |

AncestralPowers:Warren Buffett, the most successful investor alive, disagrees entirely. All the same, I agree there are manipulations here and there by institutional players. Mostly, retail investors take the hit. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by AncestralPowers: 6:42pm On Jun 01 |
You are right, and Warren Buffett could as well be considered as one of the insiders or financial manipulators.. I have personally concluded you cannot be extremely wealthy and be 100% legit. Investing in stocks/equities are okay, but we have a limitation if you aren't an insider, because we can only accept whatever we are given in the name of dividends. Investment in stocks/equities always reminds me of Animal Farm by George Orwell. "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others". Allboiz: |

| Re: Equity Investment. by mizGene(f): 9:29pm On Jun 02 |
Hi everyone, If I wanted to see the trend over time of Zedcrest and Paramount equity funds, where would I look? It doesn't seem to be readily available in the apps. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 1:35am On Jun 03 |
Yes, however, you have to do "DCA" to get good returns. mizGene: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 1:56am On Jun 03 |
If you're based overseas, your best bet is usually sticking to foreign ETFs and solid Nigerian large-cap stocks rather than going with Zedcrest or Paramount. For beginners, using a 50/40/10 split is a great way to keep risks low while you learn the ropes. So far, my foreign investments have done exceptionally well, bringing in much larger gains than my investments back home. mizGene: |
