Why are you not against those already dipping their hands in the national cake.

You are bitter about someone who isn't. Simple because he wants to run.

Check yourself abeg.
Oga with the weird reasoning where did I say I wasn't against those already deeping their fingers in the national cake...?

Where did you see me support them?

What is my personal business or do think I have against emeka running?

I guess you are from that side with your weird reasoning.

Don't quote me again!

Stop being smart by half. As I mentioned earlier, I do not have time for this. If you do not have concrete answers to the questions below, kindly direct your efforts elsewhere and use someone else’s time to complete your daily posting quota, that you required to earn your monthly allowance grin :

1. An official disclosure must be a Certified True Copy (CTC) issued through formal channels—not an unauthorized screenshot of a backend administration server.

2. Which specific provision of the laws you quoted supports Lere's position? Otherwise, show us evidence that you can access a similar file showing the backend information present in Emeka's case.
Because Lere published it on his SM feed doesn't prove he was the one who took the phone camera shot

Maybe he got it from one of Emeka's rival in the primaries who pulled strings in INEC to get it

Whatever the case, there are no data breach or privacy violation case here.

As you are demanding, all you need is a court ordered FIO.

In short, you are asking for paper work, right?.

Which privacy?

PVC information is public information as long as it is not used for impersonation.

Even at that, as a candidate running for public office, every relevant information submitted to INEC including your PVC details are open to public scrutiny.

What's personal about a PVC data page?

Emeka is an aspirant running for house of reps in Abuja .

Lere posted information that was relevant being that Emeka just recently transferred his polling unit from his village in Imo state to Abuja less than 2 weeks before the Primaries.

Also , same Emeka also recently relocated from Lagos to Abuja .

How can someone that is in his right mind want to represent the good people of Abuja when he is just a recent resident of the city and had never voted nor participated in any elections in the FCT ?

What manner of fckery is that ?
You don't know how the law works. Everything on a PVC data page is personal. His address is there which can be used to harm him. Ask questions before arguing on subject matters you know nothing about

He posted details of Emeka's PVC as captured from an INEC computer .

So how does this in anyway constitute to invasion of privacy ?

For your information, anyone can approach their local govt INEC office to request for details of any candidate contesting an election .

INEC is compelled by law to give access to anyone seeking information as contained in INEC 's care be it PVC data and INEC forms submitted by a candidate standing for election.

No law was broken here and your fellow Obidients were twisting it that Lere had access to INEC servers which was a big fat lie...
So which election is Emeka Ike contesting?

You’re slow.

So no Nigerian money has ever been spent on building your own state and cities? Can anyone from other region try to contest in your state or local government?
Pls stop the hypocrisy.
Yes, people from other regions and state do contest in my state.

Abuja indigenes were all paid and given lands in other states. Some of them got the money and land but didn't leave.

Shagari is to be blame for this mess

You can't stop me from quoting you if I want to.

Whatever side you have in mind is your business. Are you not also from the other side?

From your digital prints you are not really against those who dip their hands into the cake.

Truth is that people support evil, by deflecting it.

Lere either committed a crime or is an accessory to a crime. Which has further cast doubt on our INEC.

That's the issue. reducing it to ethnic nonsense, is evil.

How and when did a govt issued PVC become private property?

Anyone contesting a public office under an INEC conducting election loses all privacy as every document in possession with INEC is subject to public review
This one na dundi. Did you even read the article?

Desmond and his other senior brother in Abuja have made a poor showing in their political acting career. They failed abysmally at reading and properly understanding their scripts.

Whenever I see a Nigerian threatening to take anyone to court I never take them serious.

If someone infringed your rights take him to court.

Everything else lere said is true ( asides violating your privacy ofcourse which I don't support)... at least the part where he said you should have contested in your place.

Emeka ike did politics at the actors guild level and isn't exactly a trustworthy and good one. He comes across as a confusionist when it comes to Politics.

Many of these people are just looking for a way to cross into politics to have a piece of the national cake not because they have the interest of serving.

Political positions in Nigeria should be made unlucrative and unattractive so only those with the interest of the country should seek for positions!
Another way to deal with corruption in Nigeria!
Make it easy to contest and pay the elected what Federal Public Servants are paid without the perks they get now. It means that elected representatives will be found living in the same neighbourhood as the general public and using the epileptic public transportation and power stations. Things will change!

Shifting goal posts is not being ready.

Every aspirant data with INEC is open to public scrutiny.

That's the law.

There's no privacy with the information submitted by an aspirant to INEC.

If Emeka wasn't an aspirant, INEC will not have given anyone access to his PVC page

But being that he is an aspirant, the information he has with INEC is no longer protected under privacy laws.

Do you hide your CVs from your would be employer.

It is mind-boggling how some persons see white and call it black just to suit a selfish narrative.

I can only assume that person is being paid to be a nuisance on this platform.

And same INEC has confirmed everything I wrote here that there was no external hack and that it was from an authorized user account .

Do you guys even read?

Preliminary findings from the Commission’s audit trail so far, however, indicate that there was no external breach of the CVR database, no hacking incident, and no unauthorised external access to the Commission’s ICT infrastructure. Rather, the information in question was accessed through valid user credentials assigned to personnel participating in the ongoing CVR exercise but released without authority.

Hope you can now see that INEC has confirmed no external hack and that the page was viewed from one of their portals via an authorized user account.

This confirms everything I have been saying here which is that Lere did not hack the account remotely as claimed by most of the obidient mob here.

For all we know Lere may have gotten the camera shot of the screen from one of Emeka ike's rival in the NDC primaries.

INEC is only frowning on how there was no formal approval for the release of the data page that would have cost whoever wanted access to it a token fee and a formal letter requesting for it.

So hope I have schooled you enough.

Now go and touch your self in places that make you happy.

Lere Olayinka recently came under heavy criticism from Nigerians after leaking Ike’s voter information through an INEC administrative webpage.

By Ayomide Tella and Donatus Anichukwueze

Actor Emeka Ike says he is prepared to take action against Lere Olayinka, media aide to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, over the exposure of his data from the portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Ike contested for the House of Representatives seat for the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) under the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) and lost.

Olayinka recently came under heavy criticism from Nigerians after leaking Ike’s voter information through an INEC administrative webpage.

On his X handle on Saturday, Olayinka tweeted that Ike was formerly a registered voter in Imo State before transferring his registration to the FCT on May 15.

He attached two images to the post, which many believed contained details obtained from INEC’s administrative login portal.

Some of the personal information contained in the screenshots included Ike’s application number, registration centre, Voter Identification Number (VIN), profile picture, name and date of application.

Reacting to the development on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Tuesday, Ike described Olayinka’s action as shocking and the height of political rascality.

“It’s quite shocking, extreme and it is the height of political rascality for government officer to access a citizen’s information from the INEC cyber. It tells you a lot, shows how much impunity we have flying around there and people have access to the things they shouldn’t be having access to and that’s quite deplorable and I see that as a huge insult and slap on every political party and every Nigerian.

“He is telling every Nigerian that whoever you are, I can pull your information from anywhere and I can do what I want and that rascality needs to be stopped,” he said.

The actor said he was ready to challenge Olayinka for exposing his private details to the public.

“Actions are ready, I’m ready to take him on. He has no right to exploit my privacy and insult Nigerians the way he did. If he has been doing it in the past, this should be the last time he does it.”

Speaking further on the breakfast programme, Ike explained the reason behind his decision to contest for the House of Representatives seat in the FCT.

“I actually wanted to run in my state but a couple of people came to me, it was like a clarion call. People came to me and told me, ‘sir, you need to do this now, we need you in Abuja’.

“And I’m like you know I’m already trying to run in my state, but they insisted and the surge was high and I considered it seeing the relevant issues they brought on board and I said okay fine let’s see how we can build Abuja. A municipal area needs to be properly guarded and looked into, so I decided to shift to Abuja,” Ike said.
