The man is so on point. The protests should start from Oyo state and the FCT.
Protests happening in Oyo state too.

But the honest truth is this is everyone's business. People are being kidnapped and injured across the country. Let's be serious here.

As a Lagosian, we don't want any protest here pls. Everyone should lead their protest to their various polling booths next year with their voter's card. Abuja would be the best place for this kind of protest not Lagos e joo. Protest here could be hijacked by hoodlums and before you know it, looting will start
you have no right to Say you dont want protest, thats a violation of peoples fundamental right

The constitution did not airmark protest ground or location were protest.

The constitution is supreme nd it clearly state every citizen has fundamental right to protest nd be heard so far you are not breaching public peace

5 people standing by the roadside with placard, establish how it as breached public peace in that axis

LAGOS is not Tinubu or apc members property i think they need to be clarified, they feel Lagos is Tinubu's property

Tension flared in Lagos when a man confronted demonstrators who had gathered to demand urgent action over the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State. The dramatic exchange, captured on video, drew the attention of bystanders as the man repeatedly insisted that protests were not permitted at the location. The confrontation has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians debating citizens' rights to peaceful assembly and the growing frustration over insecurity and the fate of the kidnapped victims.

You have a point but every state should protest. Lagos should not be absolved from protests especially when it's for the collective good of everybody.
You know lagos is the commercial HQ. I know, what I face each day I step out of my house for work. You see able-bodied people begging you to buy food for them. They dont even need your money because they know you'd not give them more than 500 naira. But if you can buy food, you'd spend over 1k.

Now, imagine there's a protest. Even though its meant to be a peaceful one, you'd not know when it would be hijacked by these beggars who are mainly Tinubu's boys and they'd begin looting shops and killing people. They should go to aso villa where tinubu is, the man they voted into power and protest there for his failure to protect lives and property which is his core duty. Tinubu isn't resident here and majority of us here didn't even vote him.

After what happened during the Endsars protest, I do not blame him. We need real action, as most most of these protests are agenda driven and just performative.
Nothing happen in the protest, what happened was the Govt

In our history that was the most organise Protest, youth ensured with coordinated ourselves and no sign of violence for days ... even boiz were buying drinks n chops for police

GOvt force their way to disparage the protest, killed innocent souls and took over the place .. Thats not on the youth it is on Tinubu that orchestrated thugs n compelled Buhari to send military

You don't understand guy. I just explained something above. Im not a fan of tinubu or apc. I spoke as a lagosian with experience. Every protest of this kind is meant to be peaceful but by the time Tinubu's boys hijack it, they'd begin to loot shops and destroy property. There was nothing the apc didnt say during end wars. They even said the opposition or Obidients were responsible for Oba Akiolu palace invasion in which hoodlums were swimming in his pool after stealing his dollars he kept inside the coffin. Meanwhile the peaceful protesters were gathered at the lekki toll gate. You see now?

We've heard enough of Tinubu's government already in Lagos so, let's drink our gari in peace before someone will begin breaking into our property and destroying our vehicles screen at the slightest opportunity. Instead, I'd advise we use our voters card to protest next year by voting them out. That's more logical and sensible.

Yes, mostly Tinubu's boys. Before you know it, the politicians will deploy them to attack peaceful protesters and everything will snowball into chaos. They should go to aso vila and protest.

okay, so it's no longer "we don't want protests in Yoruba land!"??. It's now "take your protest to Oyo State!"

Go and tell Oyo people to take their protest out of Yoruba land nah! The evil you refuse to speak against or take action against, will come to haunt you!

Everyone should go and protest in their state.
Lagos is not the capital, not the seat of power. Why must they come to Lagos before they can protest.

They protested in every state yesterday if you watched the tv. Im not opposed to the lagos protest scheduled for today. I'm only wary of Tinubu's boys who would take advantage of this to loot shops and destroy property . The protest promises to be peaceful but we cant trust apc here. They could deploy thugs to attack them as well. We need peace here.

The man is right

The damage from the Endsars protest is still not repaired and many Police kids were rendered Orphans.

Who exactly is responsible for this protest if things get violent because SW mustn't suffer twice.
SW mustn't suffer Kidnapping of SW kids and Protest destruction of SW infrastructure on top

Any Protest that cannot be guaranteed to be peaceful by the organisers shouldn't hold

We don't want anyone to kpai again in SW under the cover of Protests

Everyone should protest in their home Regions peacefully

Agreed. I was just talking based on the antecedents here. People are hungry. There are opportunists everywhere. If they can converge in a particular place with security around them, its fine. Any street protest would trigger chaos
