I have not even seen the impact of the US security collaboration with Nigeria. If I may say, since they decided to collaborate with Nigeria, insecurity has worsen and you begin to wonder if their coming to Nigeria is a plus or additional burden to the country. Nigerians can only believe the US if we see concrete actions from them. If dem kpai terrorists we need to see their faces as that's the only evidence we can rely on as Nigerians that their presence is justified.

Was telling some group of young people recently that no one can change Nigeria, not even Tinubu, Obi and Atiku acting as president because Nigeria problem is structural and foundational. The only way out is for the country to break up and let all the new countries that would come out of Nigeria start afresh with their new constitutions.
Imagine I'm from the S/S but the Police AIG in my state is from the North and the Police DPO in the station in my village is also from the North. If a Fulani terrorist is arrested in such a circumstances and they are handed over to the police headed by their brothers, won't he release them?
If we from the S/S have our own country and because we have no single resemblance with the northerners, we will know and treat them as illegal immigrants when we see them and it becomes easy to deal with them because their brothers won't be heading our security agencies

We want more actions in Nigeria. Our government are very wicked. Years ago the senate legislated against ransom payments. I think if that was really looked into and payment stopped. By now we won't be hearing kidnapping again. Kidnapping for ransom have become a booming business right now. USA will say we don't negotiate with terrorists and that was the reason such kidnapping for ransom was checkmated.
When people are kidnapped the government do little or nothing for intervention. Always ransom payments. The government should always go after this kidnappers. In the process who ever victims die the government should compensate the family. When this kidnappers see that they can't get ransom and government will always come after them, the desires, taste for kidnapping will suddenly go away.
