but I thought there are some courses that are best taught in the Polytechnics

I have my HND in Estate management @ Federal polytechnic Nekede(2007/2008) & also my BSc in civil engineering @ the University of Port Harcourt(2012/2013), and both certificates have been good.

For Electrical/Electronics Engineering that I studied, Im sure the curriculum are similar. I'd assume its same for courses like Accounting, Microbiology etc.

All HND Graduates are advised to acquire a Post Graduate Diploma and a Professional Master/ Master of Science / Master of Technology subsequently, for your peace of mind.

The should forget about Bachelor Degree and acquire a Master Degree and PHD respectively if possible

HND holders should apply for a direct entry to the University from 300L, gain a Bachelors in 2 years as against the 1 year conversion Top-Up. They are very much different paths.

The NUC still recognizes direct entry. It is the Top-Up/Conversion that has been shunned.
