one is stopping you from doing business but littering the space with long write up which you plaster everywhere multiple times daily wouldn't increase your chances of getting a customer. Rather it will ruin the experience of the actual customers and clients who you're hoping to get.

No one wants to see adverts everywhere including you. You won't tune into a radio station if the only thing they do is play adverts constantly back to back. If we vendors make here advertising forum, it will ruin the experience for the clients so it will just be vendors advertising to vendors.

I hope you understand the point of this conversation and not pick offense

I would like to address an issue that was raised concerning my posts on this platform.

I find it surprising that someone would complain that I post too much when many other members, including the person making the complaint, also post regularly here. This platform is open to everyone, and as long as we follow the rules, every member has the right to share their work, ideas, and services.

If my posts are considered too many, then the same standard should apply to everyone. It would not be fair to single out one person while others continue posting similar content.

My intention has never been to cause problems or inconvenience anyone. I simply use this platform for the same reason many others do—to showcase my work, connect with people, and create opportunities.

If this website is strictly for building discussions and not for advertisements, then that rule should apply equally to all members without exception. In that case, nobody should be posting adverts, and the platform should remain solely for discussions.

However, if advertisements are allowed, then every member should have the freedom to post without being unfairly criticized. We should focus on supporting one another rather than discouraging participation.

Let us maintain fairness, respect, and equal treatment for everyone. Thank you.

You have spoken well, we all post adverts and it would not be to anyone's benefit to totally prohibit exhibition of works as potential clients too that may be in need of certain services may not be aware.
However as Michelin stated, it should be limited and not dominate the actual discussions. I'm sure you truly know this and should understand.
Your signature when you post alone is sufficient advert. We should learn to do things that we know is proper always.
Property section is the only place we are allowed to post adverts freely now. They ban instantly if you try it in other sections as they are seriously monetising the forum.
We don't want to take the opportunity for granted and create unnecessary attention.

I have no problem following the group's guidelines if there is a specific posting limit, but then it should be enforced equally for all members. My intention is simply to promote my services, just like every other vendor on the platform.

I understand your point, but there's no need to tell me to "use common sense." We can disagree respectfully.

Also, there are times when I don't post for weeks or even months because I'm busy with work. In fact, some clients even call to check on me and ask why I haven't been posting. So it's not as if I'm constantly flooding the page.

Many vendors post multiple times as well, so if there is a posting limit, it should apply equally to everyone. I'm simply promoting my business like others do.

When mufutau and egunmogaji (I don't know if I got the names correct) were warning you and other vendors against flooding this thread with your numerous ads you guys never listened. This is the kind of scenario they were trying to avoid.
In as much as I don't advocate for the ads I have come to terms that ads will never stop here.
And lastly, in all honesty, you have no moral justification to ask the guy to calm down on the ads....
You once did all he is doing right now.

The most important thing is that people can still get necessary information if asked.
If you notice increased activity, just know there is a drama going on. Many people you think are no longer here would come out showing that even the old timers still observe silently.
