So you have to wait till she comes to you that she needed help before telling her about the money? That sounds to me like waiting for an opportunity to take advantage of the woman.

A lie for twitter money but you should have informed the widow before hand not holding onto the money after you heard of his demise.

Nice, but why did you wait for her to have problems and come to you for assistance before you gave her the money from the late husband. At least you should have given it to her immediately after the burial to take care of her other needs. Cunny man

Omo 750k in 24 months for 2m?? Please which investment is that?
Read again! He waited for the woman to need help before telling her about the money and this valid point that you raised "750k in 24 months for 2m".
I won't be surprised if he had slept with the woman.

Calculate 5% monthly compound interest of N2 million for two years and give us your answer.
You would have simply stated the answer from your calculations. It'd have saved some time.

When I check the name of the poster of this story... "Blackviper"..

It's all lie..fabricated lie..
#2m for 24months #750k interest.. Bros lie small...

Talking about the act: it's a good act. But don't trespass beyond that.
The widow's kpekus is not for you... Keep off
It's lesser than what every Microfinance bank collect in Nigeria.

For a monthly interest of 5% that normal Nigerian Microfinance collects. The compound interest accrued over 2 years is ₦4,450,199.89, making the total value of the investment ₦6,450,199.89.

CrownedPhoenix:
That was the only thing I was thinking about while reading the story. lol
Too small or too low? Because 20% interest rate will be equall to N800,000 in two years

Which percentage are you calculating? Or is 20% interest per annum not equal to 800k?

It ought to be more than that self.

Same thing that happened to my friends dad

My friend's dad had money, alot of money. He had trucks carrying containers from wharf/Tin Can ports to different locations, some Interstate. He had I think about 6 to 10 trucks then.

He was doing well for himself but had no investment. All he was doing was giving money to his brothers, training their kids, sending his own kids to private schools, etc

Then I think one of his close friend advised him to get a land around Festac and ajao axis then but he refused. He was just talking about Biafra this Biafra that and land in festac was very very cheap. Then the friend one day asked him to loan him some money as a good man that he was he loaned the friend unknowing to him the friend went to purchase two plots of lands in his name in festac and kept it to himself.

Years later my friend's dad was already broke. Like now poor, old and even sick. His children were the ones catering for him. He already sold all his trucks and by the time he recovered he was too broke but luckily that his friend after many years surprised him with the documents to the lands in bought for him in festac early early 90s.

Like the lands were bought early 90s and he gave him the documents in 2018.

My friend's father almost ran mad.

He sold the lands for a lot of money and finally settled his children and also built a family house in the village where he eventually went to and died in 2023.

The friend came to the rescue and that share of the money my friend and his siblings got from the land sale is what lifted them. Today all the kids are doing well all because their dad's friend saw the future and was kind enough to present the document when he could have claimed it

It's reminiscent of what transpired between late Alex Ekwueme and Otunba Subomi Balogun of blessed memory.

You’re a good man….these are the type of things old Nigerians of late 70s and early 80s were known for…. Integrity was the currency… that’s why a lot of Nigerian parents are poor today because negativity and positivity swapped poles …. In a working society, men of integrity occupy leadership positions but in Nigeria, practice integrity and embrace poverty.
