My Little Eagle by Quodseverismete(op): 3:24pm On May 27
This little Eagle 🦅 fell from high mask some weeks ago, I decided to nurture it, it's extremely stubborn and violent, it eat only raw fresh meat or freshly killed lizard.

This morning I decided to bath it , it was calm and feeling cold and after sunlight exposure, it's resume it violent behavior again.

What i do with it, should I release it or keep nurturing it, I heard it has some medicinal value, or what is the economic value of this little Eagle?.

I bath it this morning when the weather was cold as shown in the pictures

What do I do with it?

The cage is too small for that eaglet! It needs a lawn tennis-sized cage that's netted all around otherwise it won't do well at all.

My uncle had one that was growing rapidly haven been fed dead chicken from the poultry but was eventually struck by lightning.

Re: My Little Eagle by saintbillion(m): 11:38am On Jun 05
That's a big meat there if taken care off well
Re: My Little Eagle by Mattswaggz:
You bathe it?....did it tell you it needed bathing or do they usually bathe themselves?. undecided .

Eagles are wild birds and I don't think they can be domesticated so release that apex predator to go and rule in it's domain(the skies).

Fly away bird! Fly away!!
Re: My Little Eagle by gulfer:
Eagles are free roamers, they never do well in captivity especially in such a situation as this. They're built to fly and soar into the skies and a bird of prey.
Re: My Little Eagle by sleek214(m): 11:45am On Jun 05
That's not an eagle 🦅. It's a Kite
Re: My Little Eagle by Dennisochampa: 11:47am On Jun 05
It will die quickly under you...
Release it into the wild...
We should allow wild birds be wild....
You can't give it all it wants and it won't grow to its full potentials under you especially since you're not professionally trained to handle birds of prey...
Please release it..
Get a dog or a cat if you want a pet... They are way easier than having an eagle...
Re: My Little Eagle by Sensiblerealist(m): 11:47am On Jun 05
Body go tell you when you nor dey run aviary Abi zoo. How can you tend to its needs when you don't know they don't bathe birds. They take of that by themselves through preening. Even water birds like ducks, geese and swans get how dem dey do am.
If you are rich enough to employ people to get you lizard or great mice everyday, you can continue to keep it. Disease and temperature matter sef dey

That a gem.
"Gem" as in pet.
Not meat(as you Nigerians are always hungry).
If you don't have the means to keep it, sell it to conservationists or wildlife biologists.

The eagle looks so depressed. Release it to the wild so it can be free and soar
