Yes it's a good policy, but how does the policy get to do with good governance? Was it not Buhari who Tinubu claimed he brought into power that gave them room for it in the first?

Yes they might have started it in Jonathan's time but it was election period and Jonathan might have be so busy with election activities to checkmate their operations then.

Buhari who won the election never bothered to check their operations and left them to be doing their thing, then all of a sudden, Tinubu who is in the same party with Buhari and is continuing from where he stopped now regulate their operations and u guys are claiming it's good governance. As how na
This has nothing no do with policies and reforms. Airtime credit only started when? Now all the politics of business want to claim it's good for business because it's mainly used by the poor. Think with your brains! Rich men and politicians will not borrow credit! They will buy directly from bank or worst case USSD or Normal vouchers.

Na soooo... you will realise the real reason...Google Saliu Alubankudi and the true reason for this will come to light.

Tinubu through his SA wants to capture a share of this market.

Nigeria would have to disintegrate rather than let tinibu have a second term. Very greedy bastatd. Knowing who he is, I am certain that virtually all the so-called local players take would take over this niche sector will be companies linked to a shell front company or entity owned by him and his inner circle.

I prefer South Africans or even aliens to control that sector or any sector for that matter than for his idiot they call tinibu to lay his greedy hands on it.

I saw all of this coming that's why the prospect of his presidency was so disgusting and unthinkable that I declared that it would even be better to have sheekau as president than this rotten monster.

Only the gullible masses can be deceived by these so-called 'reforms'. There is nothing this tinibu does for national interest. Absolutely nothing. Everything must have an angle to enrich or benefit him and his cronies, otherwise it will not be worth doing. This includes the subsidy removal, nonsense tax law, electoral law amendment, rubbish coastal road, and everything else the idiot has done since he came to power.

Goodness! How do you people see negatives everywhere? This is a reform to open up the market, not chase anyone away. Why don't you find a way to benefit from a newly opened 3 trillion market?
They are always filled with bitterness

Yes it's a good policy, but playing politics with it doesn't count because this are basic things that isn't supposed to even occurred in the first place if Nigeria government were serious. It was same Buhari who Tinubu and other Apc supporters supported all through his calamitous government that was supposed to have checkmate and regulate their operations.

Yes it’s so big money business and they’ve been doing it alone. If Nigerians like they should listen to politicians and their useless gimmicks and vote against this man. Pres. Tinubu is getting it right though painfully slow but the right calls are made.
That is exactly my love for dis government. Reforms are painful but Nigerians must also know that if these reforms are sustained for the next 7 years, our economy will ushered into prosperity and abundancy

Anything that sounds like borrow, loan, tax is what tinubu is interested in right now, he is not interested in insecurity or anything that sounds like it,
Your problem is bitterness and hatred. Sensible Nigerians know better.

Why breaking it up, simply withdraw the license from them and deregulate it amongst other fintech companies in Nigeria.
It's a no brainer.

Why are we still treating these south Africans with kid gloves?

Tell me any government in the world that took her people out of poverty in three years.... Tinubu has been making great initiatives that would soon usher Nigerians to prosperity. Your lack of progress in life is your bitterness and hatred...

So you don't know that good economy, education, infrastructure development all have a part to play in tackling insecurity? Many of you don't understand the years and decades of neglect that have led to what we face today. You think it's about shouting Tinubu or Obi online.
Imagine if we didn't have porous borders. Imagine if we had standard network and communication.
Imagine if we had good roads, mechanized farms and factories instead of bush/forests that criminals use.
Imagine if all our children and adults were properly educated.
Imagine if we'd created wealth for decades. Just imagine.
Thanks 🙏🙏 so much for educating someone like him. He is slow in comprehension. I think your explanation is well enough for him....

You sometimes need to ignore the language used by Nigerian reporters. They arent particular abuse terminology or use of words. The other say, one so called defence correspondent referred to Nigerias acquisition of Viper helicopters as Jets.

They are unhappy because Tinubu made the right call. They are in love with negativities so that they can be able to have conversation that will portray the government and the country in a bad light. It is not really even because they love those who are have been kidnapped.

After going through , I noticed these companies are new and owners not listed .
Mostly fronts for those politicians in power

Looking at the item logically, the South Africa owners have lost huge investments in Nigeria.

This alone is larger than All the African brothers and sisters the xenophobic South Africans are chasing including their businesses .

Imagine loosing 3 trillion naira X 12 that is growing exponentially.

This alone is $25,174,825,174.82517483

All the African immigrants the xenophobic South Africans are attacking may not worth this singular company revenue from a single business from Nigeria.

So when all African countries targets every SA company operating in their countries, in a long run , SA economy may not be sustainable again and their xenophobic citizens will start scanveging other countries for opportunities

This is just 12 years returns

You can see how greedy they are .

Making this type of money and exporting this kind of funds from Nigeria year in year out without ever employing a Nigerian or carrying out any corporate social responsibilities to the Nigerian people
Honestly my brother, can you imagine?

Even if it is politicians taking over the thing, let them do it. It's better than South Africa taking it.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Oseni Rufai supports that South African company on that panel.

That guy is just weird.

IF NIGERIA START ON YOUR BUSINESSES OTHER AFRICANS WILL FOLLOW AND YOUR ECONOMY WILL COLLAPSE.

EVEN WEN U TRY TO TALK SENSE TO THEM, THEY WONT LISTEN.

HOW MANY NIGERIANS ARE IN SA, LESS THAN HALF A MILLION AT MOST.
Less than 100,000

SA HAVE SO MANY BUSINESSES ACROSS AFRICA.

THEY HAVE EVEN MINES AND ACCESS TO OTHER COUNTRIES RESOURCES, WE ARE TALKING MULTI BILLION DOLAARS.

WE HAVE SOUTH AFRICANS WORKING THERE IN OTHER COUNTRIES.

U JUST DRAW ATTENTION AND GAVE THEM EXCUSS TO TAKE IT OVER FROM SA.

XENOPHOBIA IS ALWAYS A WRONG MOVE
Their government and media don't even tell them about all their investments across Africa. They portray African countries the same way Europeans and Americans do. As slummy hellholes with no prospects, where everyone is begging for food or fighting in the bush.

Direct that to the Commissioners of Police of the states, the Governor, & Local Governments.

If u people are really serious, instead of looking for a scapegoat to blame for your society’s failure.
