Rice & Beans.
Jollof rice and beans in particular. Any accompaniment is extra.

I can eat this dish almost every day, and I'm sure I wouldn't get fed up with it.

What is that one dish you can eat without getting tired of?

Happy weekend, foodies.
i thought I will see sharwama

When men take you out, you demand for non - favorite but expensive. When you enter your closet, you go for your favourite but affordable food. grin

My brother when you hit real money you will realise it was poverty that made you love this food that much.
It's because you needed something to keep you full for very long, no any particular reason for the love
I know cos I've been there

And I actually really loved the combo

Mariangeles:
When you cook "jollof" rice with mostly fresh tomatoes and peppers, it'll look pale.

If you want it deep red, you have to use tomato paste.

It all depends on the taste you're going for.
They don't use tomato paste or any of it's kind in party jollof, it's a wrong method of preparing it.

If one knows his way around it whatever shade of red is gotten without tomato paste or tin tomatoes.

Even with tatase and sombo, you still have to use tomato paste for party jollof rice, for that deep red colour.
Even the Togolese use it.

My gf finds it weird that my kitchen is too clean and complains that i waste money on energy drinks and takeouts.
Keep taking energy drinks as you like, you will still feel the heat.
I love energy drinks and I can take it anyhow. But,after it dealt with me, nobody advised me to let it go.
Very soon, you will experience a very rude shock

Naija meals more of carb calories. If already aging it's better to go more on proteins and fermented foods. And replaced simple carb with complex carb/fiber.
