While our governors are busy commissioning roads named after themselves, flying business class, and hosting elaborate celebrations, thousands of civil servants across this country are going home empty handed every month. Teachers. Nurses. Local government workers. Pensioners. People who wake up every day and go to work for a government that does not pay them.
Let us call names today.

STATES WITH SERIOUS SALARY ARREARS
Abia State - Perhaps the worst offender. Tertiary institution workers were owed up to 6 months salary, while one secondary school health worker revealed he had not been paid in 10 months. Teachers say the last time they received leave allowances was 2008. Yes, 2008.

Taraba State - Secretariat workers reported irregular payments for up to 6 months. The money comes when it comes, if it comes at all.

Ebonyi State - Pensioners who already served this country have gone 6 months without pension payments. These are elderly people depending on that money to survive.

Ondo State -Lecturers at state tertiary institutions and midwives at state owned hospitals went 4 months without a single kobo. Midwives. The people delivering babies in government hospitals are not being paid.

If true,these are isolated cases caused by the wickedness of the governors of affected states.
They didn't have money to pay workers before Tinubu came but they have more than enough now that they are even proposing to pay #100,000 for the lowest worker like the gateman etc.

Enugu state and Anambra are owing Abia state is not owing again since otti came into power 👌🏽

You are getting it wrong my dear. As much as I don't like this administration, I must tell you that the states have been receiving their allocation full and early. If any state is owing, call out the state governor.
I'm also aware that some states had backlog before this govt resumed office. Abia state that we all know was bedeviled by orjis and okezie. The state had months of unpaid salary before Alex Oti resumed office as governor. He had to pay the past payments b4 the current.
State like Lagos is even paying bonus and cost of living abi fuel allowance. The states are all well paid plus their security allocations. This is the reason Tinubu does not receive opposition(s) even from the fed house of reps or senate. They approve any bill cos theirs is padded. If other presidents are using Ghana-must-go to bribe house, Tinubu is using bulion van. He is borrowing massively to bribe his way through. And the man sabi use power.
