Chief, do you have the historical chart from CS, the one with the months' history of bull and bear markets?
This the major draw back of an equity fund ...you can't read it in a chart the way you would an individual stock smiley

Actually, the chart is research from CardinalStone, and the forecast has been accurate with the market trend.

Maybe the ASI performance in those months. Should be fairly easy to account for since the chart is not forecast per se but actual performance

True. I wonder what the market sentiment will be next year if Tinubu wins Vs if he looses.

He's going to win and the sentiment will be very positive as it'll signal stability in fiscal/monetary policy; particularly that there will likely not be any drastic changes in respect of the exchange rate, which will give a lot more investors confidence to bring money in. I'm sure there'll be a surge in foreign investments right after the election.

Re: Equity Investment. by BelieverDE:
Questions for CSOF investors:

Regarding the upcoming FTSE reclassification and the expected surge in foreign inflows to the NGX this Q3, I’m looking to clarify the entry and exit terms for the CSOF:

1. Can capital be deployed into the fund at any time throughout the year to catch the Q3 wave, or is subscription limited strictly to January?

2. Do subsequent/top-up investments trigger a fresh 1-year lock-up period on that specific capital, or do they fall under standard mutual fund minimum holding period (30-90) days?

Top up Zedcrest and CS aggressively; CS will pay a dividend next month. Make sure you reinvest the dividend and withdraw some for shopping as well.

1. You can invest at any time. Once you submit your info and deposit the funds, the subscription happens the next working day (based on my experience).

2. The term sheet just says: "Minimum holding period is twelve (12) months from date of purchase." I read this as an account-level lock where the minimum period applies to the account as a whole but it's best to ask. When you contact them, they'll assign an investment advisor to you whom you can ask. This is before you actually invest so there's no harm in getting in touch with them and having a conversation. I found mine to be very knowledgeable and helpful.

I won't recommend stocks for this new week, the market is still not settled yet, understand that fear has taken over and logical thinking has broken down, if this new trading week restores some level of confidence, I will resume suggesting stocks. However, I will post review for last week trading tomorrow. It's a different video today for beginners in the stock market.
