Good job to the npf....and some people are not happy about the rescue, they are on every social media platforms trying to downplay the work done by the npf saying it was arranged blablabla....same ppl wey believe Buhari was cloned😹
When I see what some Nigerian youths are commenting on social media, I have a very good reason to share the opinion of former Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, that Nigerian youths are intellectually lazy.

I was wondering if he hit the wood intentionally or missed, cos that range was too close to hit and miss. and na special squad dem be, imagine the non-special squad

DrTee1:
But why did the police have to shoot at the man in the roof who bore no arms?

I know the society is charged, but extra-judicial killing isn't right either. You don't shoot at an unarmed person except the court of competent jurisdiction has passed a death sentence, isn't it?

However, looking closely, despite the close proximity, it doesn't look like the suspected kidnapper in the roof was hit by the gunshot. He should have crumpled to the floor from the roof and died if that happened. However, his descent, thought fast, showed some clumsy coordination, suggesting that he wasn't killed.

Yet, this poses another challenge: how can our security agencies shoot that closely and not hit the intended target?

Something about this story doesn't add up. The initial report claimed there was a shootout and two suspects were neutralised. As we can clearly see, there was no shootout, and the suspect we can see in the video was taken away in one piece. undecided

What gives you the assurance that the man hiding on the roof is not armed. So because he came down from the ceiling without arm means nothing is there in the ceiling. Or are you there with them during the operation ni

This is a great and definitely would restore some little trust in our Police all over again. I know that out Police can work if actually set out to work. But there's something am trying to deduce here, those kidnappers, atleast the one I saw in the video doesn't look like a Fulani man to me......looks more like a Yoruba or Igbo man......Southern people in short cos I know Southern people look similar atimes.....

Good job anyway, but the major one should be done by rescuing the 48 people in the bush since over a month now and also the Ekiti, Kwara and Bornu abductees......Nigeria shall be Great again in our lifetime........

Sometimes I used to laff our soldiers, especially those young graduate models and street boys and girls flooding our barracks and internet in the name of i be soldier.
Sometimes also I used to laff some people who compares our police and army, saying soldiers will finish our police, especially when there's issue between them.
Take it or leave it, in this country, police is my number one crime fighters. They're the best when it comes to issues like this. I will everyday and everytime love nigeria police.
Sorry to say o, I don't like nigeria soldiers. They've lost their glory, maybe because of poverty or small money to buy ciggar. If you have a police friend, please depend on him/her on issues. They will give you professional and legal advice. Soldier own na to scatter and creat more problem for you angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry

The person is part of a kidnapping syndicate and you are asking why the police shot at him?

You should go and stand in front of any member of the family of people that have been kidnapped and ask the question again to get the appropriate response.

I am very okay with recorded extra judicial killing in cases like this. You do realise those animals kidnapped children, right?

While I partly agree with you, I believe the officer shot is defensive and proactive, the assailant was coming from the roof with no clear sight of his hands and a clumsy jump.

Officer could have handled it better but his action is justified.

That doesn't matter now and beside, you are only seeing 2 minutes video of a plan that took days and hours to plan. You can't expect all the analysis to be recorded in this 2 minutes video.....You don't know if those two were the one gunned down before gaining entrance into the premises. So many things shall still be explained properly later. Right now, rejoice for this breakthrough and let's wait for the bigger breakthrough of the release of the OYO abductees and other states also.......
