2. Reckon (consider) yourself dead to sin and alive to God, embracing this as reality. Romans 6:11

3. Hold fast your profession of faith by continually confessing your identity in Christ. Hebrews 10:23

4. Yield not your members as instruments of sin but live by the power of will and grace. Romans 6:12-13


Faith and Mindset Transformation:
Repeated confession shapes belief, while the mind battles tendencies and doubts.

Confession is a spiritual act activating grace; it is not mere words but agreement with the Spirit.
Liberty is shown when one can face temptations or offenses without fear, shame, or hidden pretense.

Role of the Will and Grace:
Freedom involves exercising the God-given power of choice, supported by grace that follows the act of willing oneself to live righteously.
Analogous to the Prodigal Son's decision to return home, the choice to live a Godly life precedes empowerment and restoration.

Spiritual practices as enhancers:
Regular engagement in prayer, worship, Bible study, and kingdom service strengthens spiritual capacity.
Idleness and spiritual inactivity increase vulnerability to sin and demonic influences.
Spiritual quickening revives the believer, facilitating victory over fleshly desires.

Fruit of the Spirit:
True freedom produces the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, etc.), whose manifestation transcends circumstances.

Believers are called to rejoice amid trials, reflecting the indwelling joy of the Holy Spirit.
Comfort (paraclete) is a vital function of the Holy Spirit especially during times of loss or suffering.

Yes, we were all procreated from sex. However, even before the Christian religion, societies have always had "rules" and norms related to sex - hence the institution of marriage. No society praised the indiscriminate exploration of sex outside "marriage".
