Whoever wrote the press release on the uniform of the NPF still needs to go and learn work. How do you want us to read that?

No matter how they did it, I had told a friend that these people would be freed before spending 3 nights with their abductors.
There was just too much at stake for the elite class here.
While I am glad they are now free, I find it hard to believe that no agreement was reached between the government/family and the abductors.
If that was the case, why then has such tactics not being employed to free the Ogbomosho students?
We need Sunday Igboho to be given permission by the FG to rescue them. It's all clear now that this is all political and that's very sad. Why didn't they wait on Igboho to rescue them? Jokers

^^^Majoring in the minor, I see.

For your information, this is standard operating practice all over the world.

In high risk operations like the one recorded in that video, police officers need to ensure there is instant identification; break through what is known as the "adrenaline barrier"; command presence; issue clear directives under duress; help victims and criminals acquire a clear focus, and much more!

So, get off your high-horse of insouciance and commend the rescue.
Is that the volume and tone they use when they rescue victims? Do those involved in the rescue be shouting that like robots?... even when they're not near the victims? The way they're shouting will leave the young victims traumatized. Maybe they learned what to say... but weren't told when and in what tone. Bottom line .. it was unprofessional. I did compliment them for the rescue.

100% staged. I am a forensic investigator and i am sure this is undecided
zenburster:
The video clearly showed two of the kidnappers captured alive.

The one in handcuffs and the one who fell from the ceiling.

Now the communique is claiming two were killed and others fled.

Make this make sense.

The truth about this kidnap, whether real or staged will eventually come out.

They were abducted to make a statement, am not sure they were kidnapped!

Kidnappers ask for Ransome and Kill their victims, abductors have more intimate reasons and in this case looks more of dispute or staged !

This is not the type of K&R we are dealing with !

Two different scenarios.

One was done by Fulani bandits in the village and took them deep inside the bush, laid mines for the rescue team and maybe they have moved across Nigeria border.

While the ex ministers sister was organized by local greedy idiots who has no way of comfortably taking their victims out of the busy city.

Since they are both Nigerians why are they not treated equally? Why are the ones kidnapped for over three weeks are yet to be rescued but immediately it involved the political class swift action was taken.
I'm not Government, I don't work for them. The day you see Tinubu or his son Seyi, ask them
My point is that those rescued are Nigerians and we should be happy for them while we sustain the pressure on Government to rescue all Nigeria kidnapped

FABU of the highest order.

Just tell us in a simple term. We paid the ransom and the owners of Nigeria released them after term and agreement was met.
And yet they killed some of them. Obviously you are from a family of all emergency lovers of Nigeria as a nation. God will continue to disappoint you all

Fire the kidnappers and dump them in crocodile swamp...we need to start torturing kidnappers and terrorist to extract information and disposing them, instead of wasting money feeding demons. There are a thousand ways to dispose terrorists and kidnappers, quietly. We must stop treating kidnappers nice, elimination after torturing to extract information.

PRESS RELEASE

NIGERIA POLICE FORCE CONFIRMS SAFE RESCUE OF ABDUCTED WOMAN AND HER TWIN SONS

The Nigeria Police Force announces the successful rescue of Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, who were abducted on June 3, 2026, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The hostages were rescued during a coordinated operation by the Force Intelligence Department Intelligence Response Team (FID-IRT) in Ibadan at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Mrs. Adegoke and her children were abducted while she was driving them to school at about 7:30 a.m. on June 3, 2026.

The rescue was achieved through sustained intelligence gathering, surveillance, and tactical operations. These efforts enabled investigators to track the kidnappers’ movements, resulting in a confrontation with FID-IRT operatives.

During the confrontation, two suspected kidnappers were fatally wounded and two rifles were recovered. The victims were rescued unharmed and are now in safe custody, receiving medical care and support.

The Inspector-General of Police commends the courage, professionalism, and effectiveness of the FID-IRT operatives and all officers involved. Their resilience and commitment were instrumental in the safe rescue of the hostages.

Security operatives have intensified efforts in the area to apprehend fleeing members of the kidnapping syndicate. Preliminary intelligence indicates that some suspects escaped with gunshot injuries. Operations are ongoing to track, arrest, and bring all involved to justice.

The Nigeria Police Force appreciates the public’s support, cooperation, and patience during the operation. We remain committed to combating violent crime, protecting lives and property, and ensuring the safety of all citizens.
