This is not a lie if you don't live in a dysfunctional society.
Tthe problem is people assume being successful is only tied to money. Being able to fit into your society alone is a success.

I agree. Education still has value, but many people were sold the idea that a degree alone guarantees success. That's the part I think is misleading
