US President Donald Trump told the Financial Times on Monday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "won’t have any choice" but to accept a deal with Iran.

“I call the shots. I call all the shots," said Trump. "He doesn’t call the shots.”


He added that Sunday's Iranian missile attack on Israel will not "have any impact on the deal," according to the FT.

“We’ll see how it ends up," he said. "But they were attacks that did not kick at all.


It’s one of those things that’s been going for 3,000 years, or 47 years, depending on how you count,” Trump added


On Sunday, Trump asked Netanyahu to avoid striking Iran in retaliation for the recent Iranian missile attack on Israel, N12 news reported



Trump further told KAN News that Israel "has responded enough, no need for more."

Later on Sunday, Trump told Axios that the US is "very close to a final deal with Iran."


"I don't want it to blow up because of what is happening now," said Trump.

Trump added that the Iran strikes "didn't hurt anybody," saying that he hopes Israel does not retaliate. "If Netanyahu strikes them back, it's just gonna keep going like the last 47 years, or last 3,000 years," said Trump.

Earlier on Sunday, Trump urged Iran to get back to the negotiating table. "What I would suggest to Iran: You've shot your missiles, that's enough. Get back to the table and make a deal," Trump told Fox News.

He also told Fox that he was unaware of the strikes on Lebanon, contrary to earlier reports, and that he was angry about them.


Trump reiterated to the FT that Sunday's attacks will not affect his decision-making on an Iran deal. “The deal may make it on its own merit, or not, but this will not have any effect on it,” he said.

Trump added that he would consider a ground raid on Iran if negotiations failed.

“It means two things,” said Trump. “Number one, it would mean that possibly we would go in and take care of the rest of the place that we didn’t take care of militarily. Or it would just mean that we would keep the blockade on Iran because the blockade has been probably more powerful than any attack that was ever made on that country.”

When I said that Trump will be embarrassed months ago, some uninformed folks went on mental gymnastics.

People don't know who the Persians are. They should read about their history. Persian civilization is more than 6,000 years old; no one stopped to think how or why they survived for that long. How old is America that Trump thinks the Iranians are pushover?

He initially thought it would be easy like how he picked Maduro in Venezuela. He assassinated their Supreme leader and thought the entire IRGC command will fall in line. E don clear for him eyes now that no amount of commanders he assassinates will crumble the Islamic regime.

Trump messed up the Iranian war badly. He also underestimated their military power and willpower.

I don already tell una before say Iran will disgrace USA and Israel. Trump's plan was simple - take out Iran's supreme leader like he did in Venezuela and have the Iran military surrender. It backfired. Now he is in a hole he has no clue how to get out from. He can't withdraw - it will be chalked as a defeat for the USA and will be too embarrassing for his loud mouth. Iran is not agreeing to ceasefire and has said the war will only end in their own terms.

Many of you will learn a lot after all these is over. No be by having trillion dollar military budget or having the best military on earth. War is too complex. Russia that was thought will get a quick win against Ukraine is still fighting four years later.

Sit and learn. Real life no be Hollywood action thriller.

You don't even need any briefing to know that the USA went to the war without any plan.

The only plan they had was to use the same system they executed in Venezuela - take out Khamenei, and think the entire regime will collapse and fall in line or run away with their tails between their legs. Dey play!

For those fan of Israel and Trump on this forum who thinks the US will win this war, you are sleeping. I don't think you can find a nation with citizens who are hardcore nationalists like Iran. Those guys would rather die than allow Trump dopple the regime or impose a leader on them.

And if the US and Israel won't launch ground invasion, they are only wasting their time. Nothing else will make regime change happen. If they invade, it will end in absolute disgrace for them.

In Afghanistan, the defeat was so crazy they ran away leaving behimd military gadgets and weapons worth billions of dollars, that the Taliban later took to wreak more havoc. That was a war they fought for 20 years with more than $2.3 trillion, against a set of goat herders. Lmaoooo.

There's a big difference between Iran and IRGC. One is a very poor country whose citizens are all over Europe begging for Asylum. The other is the terrorist group that's impoverished that nation to amass arms for continued prosecution of wars against the Jews.

No be say IRGC strong. They are just careless about the costs of this war to Iran. After all they are in control of the country's resources and will never know a minute of economical suffering.
