Good road developments .

The real issue facing the common man is jobs that make them meet their daily needs and expenses. That is why you will always hear Donald Trump talk about millions of Jobs created and Jobs for the American people

Southern roads needs priority attention, it affects supply chain linking north and south. It takes longer time for goods and services thereby increasing cost.

Is the petrol subsidy Tinubu and APC are forcing you to pay since 2015, when they failed to make petrol lower than N70, bigger than your imagination huh

anonimi:
Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC

January 19, 2015

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.

On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.

But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.

It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.

have we declined so much to the extent that the FG working on one of hundreds of Nigerian federal roads in disrepair is worthy of recognition?

3 years in we are yet to hear of ANY federal road project that has been completed, I stand to be corrected,

Meanwhile we hear of record borrowing and tripled allocations to states but zero impact on the ground, That is why seeing even one road being worked on appears to be breaking news?

Have Nigerians been turned to dogs that feed off the crumbs thrown to them from the table of the politicians?

The biggest nightmare I ever experienced on any Nigerian road was on this particular road.

Plying this road on a rainy night is like passing through hell. Damn!

You obviously dont understand governance and govt finance......dangote the richest man in africa still takes loans, does that make h8m a bad business man?

If the project isn't viable or having a proper funding plan nobody will touch it,no contractor or bank......you are the one who should stop being mugu by believing all the lies being peddled about the tinubu govt Nigeria is now far more stable economically than we were 10 years ago.

You cannot watch this and say President Tinubu isn’t solving real issues facing the common man.

Right now the common problems are insecurity, lack of job opportunities, high cost of surviving(living has left the common man), oppression, poor power supply, no social welfare programs, poor medical care, and no belief in a better tomorrow.

And it's your type that's saying that other states (APART FROM LAGOS) need to have Seaports, now Tinubu is constructing a road close to the sea and states are now giving license for seaports (OGUN, ONDO AND AKWA-IBOM so far), you're still complaining.

With the COASTAL ROAD, it will be easy to connect with any southern state (FROM SEAPORTS ALONG THE COAST) without putting any burden on the existing inner roads. WHILE AT THE SAME TIME opening up the coastline to tourism, real estate, entertainment etc. and also reduce travel time between states. The BENEFITS are enormous.
