Position: Assistant Procurement Officer
Location: Ikeja

We are seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and proactive Assistant Procurement Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support the procurement function in sourcing, vendor coordination, purchase order processing, and ensuring timely supply of materials, spares, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for materials, equipment, and services• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and related documents• Follow up with vendors on quotations, deliveries, and order status• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier database• Compare prices and negotiate for cost-effective purchases where applicable• Liaise with internal departments to understand purchasing needs• Monitor stock levels and support inventory replenishment activities• Ensure timely delivery of procured items and resolve supply issues• Support compliance with company procurement procedures and policies

Requirements
• HND/B.Sc. in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or related field• Minimum of 1–3 years relevant experience in procurement or supply chain role• Good communication and negotiation skills• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping ability• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)• Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
