Okay, does anyone have familiarity with the school "Polish-Japanese Academy of information technology" (PJAIT)? I'm currently applying and at the stage for interview... But I'm yet to legalize and process my NAWA verification of education degree and Transcript, i intended to do that after gaining admissions. How does the timeline to meet up with that goes for a start of studies in October? |

Thank you. I also want to know why I keep seeing people say that you cannot sponsor yourself for a BSc program and that you must use your father or another relative as your sponsor. Why is this the case, and is it something I need to worry about? and what are the documents to backup, if you are going in that direction... freedomtours: |

Hi, what about if your company doesn't issue a payslip, but your salary is reflected on your bank statement? Also, I have a question: if I've paid my first year tuition upfront, for a 1.5 yr MS program, how much would I need to show as POF ? The program I'm going for is a 1.5-year program, but it's billed as a single fee, which I'll pay. In terms of living expenses, how much do I need to show for the year? freedomtours: |

Sorry, I'm asking, but I want to be clear The appointment that only appears every last Monday is that for a Legalization appointment or the student visa appointment itself? freedomtours: |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by freedomtours(m): 9:09am On Jun 15 |
greenparrot:Please note, that there are changes now in regards to visa application so it it depends on your age, Embassy is considering that now, if you are above certain category of age and you apply for Bsc or masters, you may end up not getting visa approval, nobody can give you this information this change came up few months ago and it affected someone I know very well that's how I get to know it came into effect recently. 23 years for Bsc and 28 years and above for masters. It is assume if you are going for Bsc you are below 28 years and should be sponsored by your parents or family relatives that you share same name with. But if you are old enough to sponsor yourself and substantiate that by providing the required documents your application will be considered but using your parents as sponsor have additional advantage. Same with applicants going for masters study. |

Pay slip is very important if you can get it, I know why I say so..you see some time the visa officer does not need much documents but straight forward documents that can collarate. Am saying this base on the positive result that people that submitted such documents got. Some of this information are gotten from some of the applicants that have gone through the process. Sometimes before applying check if you have the required documents, if you don't you can start gathering them, an there some documents that are sacrosanct, when you have the correct documents your chances will be very high. I have seen many that follow this directive and was successful, this the sole reason why some are saying that Poland no longer issues Study visa, this is because they do not take time review and check if they have the correct documents before putting up an application. I you didn't say the amount of your full tuition fee here, but you should have upto 30m, you have to show that you have a enough to cater for that one year expenses and throughout the duration of your study in Poland also with additional documents like property documents to prove your home ties, economic and social tie back to Nigeria, this is very important. Make sure you also have someone in Poland, because they will call the person to comfirm after your interview. |

Wow, this is great information. Thank you so much, my bro. So, what you are saying is that if you are 23 years old and above, you can sponsor yourself provided you have the required documents, even if you are self-employed as a freelancer and not working under a company. Also, if you are applying for a Bachelor's degree, you have to provide proof of upfront payment for the remaining tuition fees after paying the first year fees. and what documents do you think someone can provide when they are self sponsoring if the person do not have land property just proof and source of income? I also want to confirm whether I can make changes to my arrival date during the visa appointment and to what extent such changes are acceptable. I saw a notice on the website stating that substantial changes may lead to a rejection, and I would like to understand what is considered a substantial change to avoid such issues. Does anyone know when the appointment portal is opened on the Polish Embassy at Abuja? My son n eds an appointment for Study visa and I need one for visitor (Schengen) visa so I can accompany him. He has offered and visa letter to a university in Poland. He has completed the application form and tried to register on the Abuja Embassy Portal but he got no calendar to select a date. No information was provided to him on Next Steps. I heard from someone today that the appointment portal is opened on the last Friday of the month but the individual didn't tell me the time. However, I read I a December 2025 post on Naira land that the appointment portal is opened at 9:30am on the last Monday of the month. Which is true? What does my son need to do next? Appreciate your advise. |

Poland is a beautiful country with rich history. Almost every young Polish citizen knows English, many of them speak English fluently. The level of education is generally high, but it was higher years ago when there were no private schools and you had to be very good to study at public universities. I can write you a lot about Poland ![]() By the way, I just started a project about global cultures because of my dream to live by the Pacific, shared a beautiful short about it here: https://www.nairaland.com/8692342/most-beautiful-philosophy-pacific-islands Greetings from place where you want to be hope you will help me to make my dreams about global project come true ![]() |

AFOYELEYE:Appointment for work is on weekly basis and Why Study appointment and other categories of visa appointment is on last Monday of every month. For the Study appointment after he registered through the online video verification. He will recieve a message to notify him that he has been registered on a poll for monthly appointment. If he have done this, he should be patient once they schedule appointment he will be notified. |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by AFOYELEYE: 4:19pm On Jun 17 |
freedomtours:Many thanks for the response. However, my son did not get any confirmation that he is been out in waitlist for appointment and it is over a week now. Also, how will I get an appointment for myself for Schengen visa? I will like to accompany him and I did not get any opportunity to even register my application. Every time I complete the form, it tells me something that means in essence there are no more available appointment slots. Do I have to wait by the computer on the last Monday of the month by 9:30am to complete the Registration and will be valr to get an appointment? |
