This is the reality for the majority of APC members in the North. They will vote against Bola Tinubu in 2027.

I just pity d southern part of Nigeria.....every northern people except for some educated or exposed ones will go out for d north...in d south, we r divided.....if only Tinubu had carried d south with him, he would have enjoyed d southern unity ....dude was just focussed on Lagos alone

What Southern unity are you talking about? Has the South ever supported Tinubu? Obi defeated him across the entire South except for 4 Yoruba states which he won out of 17 Southern states. The North made Tinubu president. If he fails to get Northern support in 2027, he's toast.

We've dwelt on this skirt and blouse phenomenon in the north for long. We also talked about it just now. The fact is, the north realized that only Tinubu and his troupe make the APC so unpopular.

The problem Tinubu has is that he's so unpopular that he won't get any protest votes at all from those disillusioned with either Atiku or Obi. They'd rather refrain from voting altogether. In other words, no one who despises Atiku would choose to vote Tinubu. That'd be like cutting your nose to spite your face.

The first lady's optics in recent days aren't also helping Tinubu. The less she appears in public, the better. But I think they have a penchant for raw arrogance.

Some Tinubu lackeys are confusing support for governors to be tantamount to support for Tinubu. Come 2027, both in the North and South, we will see more governors retaining their seats but failing to deliver Tinubu. Some of his snake oil merchants will then claim they betrayed Tinubu simply because they couldn't sell liquor in the middle of Mecca.

They're embracing Tinubu on paper and TV. In all honesty, how many votes can the trio you mentioned guarantee for Tinubu to cancel the anger and frustration? I interact with some northern Christians. They don't seem as enthusiastic as you want me to believe.
