South-Africa has, largely, been ungrateful to the African Countries that stood with South-Africa to free her from the wicked and racist Apartheid Regime. Is this fair? Now Ramaphosa denies the reality of Xenophobic attacks against other Africans in South-Africa by BLACK SOUTH-AFRICANS and is trying to change the narrative to say it is all about migration issues! Quite annoying to say the least. Meanwhile take a listen to Thabo Mbeki in the attached video and you will be amazed at the benevolence South-Africa has received overtime from other Black African nations. In return South-Africa has paid us back with evil. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXa_ZZtWj9I?si=lYen6xW4zPoE2ZNM |

Ghana just brought in the 3rd batch of returnees... Bringing the figures to around 1000. Jobs have been promised them and other benefits to make their relocation easier for them. Nigeria is still confused and undecided about what steps to take or how to respond. Ghanain president has even said he would push for compensation at the next AU summit. These are governments that know what they are doing. Ghana has proven to lead many times on issues like this. Nigeria as much as I hate to admit it is just giant of Africa on paper. It's a country mostly uncoordinated when it matters The most! |

zoedew:African countries helped the ANC only a few like Angola actually died to help end apartheid. Why should any one care about the nothing Nigeria did. |

andrewza:Who told you Nigeria did nothing or what exactly are you saying...? Nigeria played perhaps the biggest role in helping s/a Free from apartied. Stop coming to public space to say things you know nothing about! |

brain54:Name one thing Nigeria did. South Africa gave more help to Bifar than Nigeria did to ending apartheid. Where any Nigerians fighting the SADF or SAPS The white counties of Europe did more than Nigeria. African countries have a over inflated mentality of what they did. Apartheid ended in 1992 when white South Africans voted to end it since they where upset they where being isolated. The fact they could not play in the rugby world cup mattered far more than any thing Nigeria did. |

andrewza:The same white countries of Europe that initially tagged Mandela a terrorist... You obviously don't know what you are saying. And I've come to understand and learn that it's not everyone or everything a wise person argues with. If you say Nigeria played no role in s/a s apartied history you are right. But Nigeria was one of the first destinations Mandela himself visited to appreciate for efforts towards freedom from apartied. And the support of Biafra you are mouthing about most historians argue was an attempt to weaken Nigeria due to it's anti apartied and white minority rule stance. If you like you can attempt to turn history on its head... but the truth and the records are there for those that genuinely want to know and learn from history! |

brain54:Yes those same white countries did more to end apartheid with economic and social isolation. I asked for some thing Nigeria actually did to help end apartheid. Some tangible act that led to white people in 1992 to vote for the end of apartheid. |

andrewza:If you don't know the answer to that question by now then I don't think it's worth engaging you... You can't just wake up early in the morning and say what you like. The Internet is there for everyone. If you are wise you would educate yourself and not make weird comments in public. Even south Africans themselves have never come out to say Nigeria was not helpful to them during apartied. No matter how badly behaved they are or act they have never disputed that fact. Educate yourself! |

andrewza:Really! Ignorance is indeed a deadly disease while knowledge is power!!! Have you ever heard of Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo the Nigerian Head of State who Nationalised the British Company (BP British Petroleum Company). It was the large straw that broke the back of apartheid. |
