How can you join a party with your supporters and not protect their interests once you have sorted yours? That's not how politics is done anywhere in the world.

Obi is simply not a builder. He's selfish and ready to sacrifice everything but his ambition.

NDC should have included membership duration, say 6-12months, as part of the requirements to contest any seat except with waiver. This will technically give them the control over these new entrants. Simply give waivers to new entrants based on reasonable agreement. You can't meet people somewhere and bully them.

New entrants who weren't successful at the primaries are the ones causing problems and will continue cause issues for the party. This will be a critical crackpoint that the ruling party can explore. Now, they're pushing the party's leadership to be publicly firm, saying things that can polarize the party. HSD really has nothing to lose should NDC not field any presidential candidate for 2027.

At this juncture, he may be tempted to expel Obi to render him internally displaced and absent on the ballot.

Had Obi factored his supporters into the workings, he would have requested certain number of tickets for them which will make it easier to pacify those it won't reach. Kwankwansiyya members aren't everywhere dragging NDC leadership like this. I'm not sure any obidient emerged as NDC candidate for any post. He threw them all under the bus.

Dickson will only end up destroying his ndc if he sabotaged and plays politics with Obi's presidential ambition, kwankwaso is not that even reliable he can easily defect to the apc if he gets a better deal both can't even get the national spread required to win the 2031 presidential election if they both don't play responsible national politics.

I understand ur statement but as an Obidient p.o enter that party in an emergency situation, meaning people are there b4 his arrival unlike in labour party when everything was calculate done by both party loyalist and newcomers..... Whatever Dickson like should do cos it will be a disgrace in his face seeing Obidient occupying different political positions why his loyalist got nothing...all this gbese will take turn if obi eventually win it...for now Dickson can do whatever he likes....also he should remember what his doing can turn against him in future.

Protecting interest or some Obidient just want to use his influence to get into office....u can't blame obi on this one....
