Every political party has its own challenges but Dickson should stop creating a challenge for himself. It's wrong to begin to believe that the movements Obi and Kwankwaso have built will all disappear overnight because of NDC and all begin to praise Dickson they don't "know". It won't happen. If we join your party, we don't join because of Dickson, we join because of Obi Kwankwaso. Respect boundaries sir.
You can't begin to say anyone including you can contest at this moment you should focus on managing your visitors not bloated by ego. Of course, nobody is stopping you but you should be grateful your platform is being used. Stop forcing people to respect you, earn it through character and words. You're Dickson, not Obi or Kwankwaso. Movements/ ideologies are bigger and stronger than a political party. Let's keep pride apart and save Nigeria from APC goons. God bless you, sir.

Plain and simple.

Ego and greed seem to take priority over sensible compromise for Nigerian politicians, and see how well it has served them developing Nigeria

By definition of a Political Party, there's no "Owner". Not saying someone who founded a party should not be regarded, but let's stop this mistake of assuming people own things when their 'power' is ONLY powered by the choice of the people, NOT person.. same way we think politicians own the money for constituency projects and worship them for doing their work...however shabbily.

Bold of you all to assume that Dickson is interested in removing Tinubu from power come 2027. The signs were there but the political naivety of Obi allowed him to jump into a party that was solely allowed to exist wiithout disturbance at a time when the government is actively destroying existing parties and preventing the registration of new parties. How could Obi be so naïve? The silence of the APC towards NDC is because they know they now have Obi right where they wanted.

Per the bolded, see arrogance.

You went to his party, he didn't come to your movement. How is that such a difficult concept to grasp?

How would Obidients feel if Dickson had joined their puff puff movement and wanted to put his own people in executive positions within it (almost immediately) .

Like others have repeatedly said, Obidients now need to put the effort in to form their own party, that way you can run it however you like instead of trying to forcefully control the structures of other people's party.

The biggest disadvantage that Peter Obi has is Obidients.

The biggest obstacle to Peter Obi becoming president is Obidients.

The biggest problem for Peter Obi is Obidients.

Obidients are a curse to Peter Obi.

Obidients destroy whatever Peter Obi tries to build.

Obidients are the biggest helpers to opponents of Peter Obi.

Obidients are working hard to ensure that Peter Obi never becomes president.

The job of Obidients is to fight with anybody that can help Peter Obi.

If Peter Obi never becomes president it will be because of Obidients.

Clueless tenants who don’t respect their own boundaries are wailing and screaming at the landlord to respect their own boundary as tenants.

It’s only a matter of time before the tenants are back on the streets homeless like internally displaced politicians, IDPs.

This was how Obiano kicked out Obi from their regional party APGA in 2014. Thankfully he was rescued five years later by Atiku.

newsbook:
Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano has re-echoed his allegation that his predecessor, Mr Peter Obi demanded the sum of N7.5billion from him for sponsoring his election in 2013.

Obiano and his predecessor, Obi have had a frosty relationship shortly after his swearing in.

Obi has however denied that he demanded for the sum of N7.5billion from Obiano, saying that his problem with him was his (Obiano’s) underperformance.

Obi said if he needed the said sum, he would have simply taken it from the N75billion he left for the Obiano administration at the end of his tenure.

But Governor Obiano while speaking on Wednesday evening at Ezechima Primary School, Onitsha where he inaugurated his reelection campaigns in Onitsha North Council Area, said the clarification became necessary because of the recent accusations against him by the former Governor.

He stated that his predecessor had demanded the sum of N7.5billion from him as funds spent in prosecuting the election on his behalf, but that he refused to pay the money because it was not true.

Obiano said he refused to pay because he strongly believed that public funds should be used for public good, and not to settle godfathers.

These, he said, was the reason they fell apart.

The governor said that another reason he refused to pay the money was because he was aware that enough money was raised for his campaign by his friends and associates, all of which were never accounted for by the former governor.

On the actual sum the former Governor claimed he left behind, Governor Obiano made it clear that he inherited liability of about N127 billion debt from him in contracts awarded and other responsibilities, which he has been religiously undertaking in the spirit of continuity.

He said Obi flagged off several roads even on the day he was leaving office and saddled him with the burden of paying for it, but he assured the people that he has his eyes on the ball and will not allow anything to distract him from fulfilling his promises.

The Chairman of the Governor’s Re-election Campaign Committee, Chief Victor Umeh said APGA as the political spirit of Ndigbo, has in the past three and half years, availed Anambra good governance at its best, reminding the people that the upcoming guber election was not about Willie Obiano but about ensuring that the state remained free from political godfatherism.

A former Central Bank Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo in his speech said that at this time, the State needs a tested hand like Governor Obiano who has the experience and expertise to effectively steer her affairs.

Then you step up and be a party leader.
For now, NDC just have individual supporters, there's no know party ideology.

Are you people the opposition?
The 3rd force? Just another party...?

Even Labour party, sold the ideology of Concern for the Masses.

What does NDC stand for?

Dickson should unify and lead the party, not trying to protect his ex-pdp internal interests with the fundings and support from the Obidients

Maybe you too should have formed your party if it was easy, like Dickson said.

Right now, he has the bigger part of the stick and y'all will play by his rule, at least till 2027

Isn't this wonderful? The mob now see northerners (kwankwasiyya) as friends and not terrorists. Although, I shouldn't jump the gun. Very soon the kwankwasiyya guys will turn back to terrorists when Kwankwaso f their agulu fraud up. In all of this, I'm well entertained, and I'm grateful for that.

Like I always say, if Tinubu wins second term the major blame should go to the obidients, because they've made sure that most non igbo obi supporters and neutrals are now drifting towards voting Tinubu due to their uncouth, maniacal behavior.
