Emir of Ilorin Appoints Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani as Chief Imam of Ilorin

ILORIN – His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, has officially appointed Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani as the Chief Imam Fulani of Ilorin Emirate.

The appointment follows a rigorous selection process in which Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani emerged victorious among several distinguished scholars vying for this prestigious spiritual leadership position.

About the New Chief Imam

Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki, aged 42, is a grandson of the 8th Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Ibrahim Dasuki Imam Fulani Agaka, and the son of the 10th Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Maliki bn Dasuki Agaka.

Prior to his appointment, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir was the founder and proprietor of Darul Bisharah Arabic and Islamic Studies, Airport Egbejila, Ilorin. He also served as the Imam leading daily and weekly Jumu'ah prayers at Afsat Oloriegbe Memorial Mosque, Oko Olowo, Ilorin. Additionally, he is a presenter of the Al-Bisharah Islamic Foundation radio program on Radio Kwara during Ramadan and teaches at Darul Kitab College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Gaa Akanbi, Ilorin.

Emir's Remarks

In his remarks, the Emir offered prayers for the new Chief Imam's successful reign, wishing him long life, sound health, and divine wisdom to effectively pilot the affairs of the Muslim Ummah.

"Amin. Long live the Ilorin Emirate. Shehu, Shehu, Shehu, wallahu yazimuka mina nas, amin," the Emir declared.

Why is this guy so strong that no one can control him

In kwara state, how many paramount rulers do we have?
What's the position of Oba of Ilorin or Oba of Kwara?

This is one of part where Christianity is better than Islam in Nigeria.

In Nigeria all Christians are equal no matter your state or region. But fulani sees other Muslims tribes as their conquered people and territory .

And some funny Hausa, middle belt and South West muslims are supporting some islamic moves thinking that fulani count them or have good plans for them.

They will whine you with Islam, penetrate and install their people in all sensitive political and religions positions.

Even Kano that Hausa brag as their main city is ruled by fulani. 80% of the local government leaders in Kano are fulanis.


The only luck yorubas have is that the world has opened eyes and will interfere. Assume this is 18th century, then SW region will be history.
