MadPolitician:
Where will Amechi get the votes for Atikuhuh The north? The South West?
Dude cant even win Obia Akpor Localgovernment, so from where will the votes come from!?
From Rivers state? Wike will rather commit suicide than allow him win a single local government.

From the South East?
He shot himself in the foot when he loquaciously denied the zone the other day because he thought that in these days of APCs sectional anti-igbo politics, that was the right thing to do.

The South South?
No one at Edo, Delta, Cross Rivers or Bayelsa will listen to him. Dude is not even popular in the South South.
So where will the votes come from?
Amechi is nothing but a power hungry interloper who thinks that because he has managed to siphone billions from government coffers, he can now use such resources to hyjack federal power.
It won't work!
The choice is about the money needed to finance the campaign. Amaechi has deep pockets. When Governor Makinde heard 10 billion Naira, he took to his heels.

geoworldedu:
But how many people in this real world are ready to vote for Tinubu? Like where can Tinubu get the bulk of his votes from in this time?

Bar massive rigging, Tinubu will not even win any single region or come second, even in the South West.
Tinubu does not need massive rigging to win next year.
He has massive money stolen from us, instead of providing government services and utilities. Plenty of money to bribe the Stockholm syndrome, tribalistic Nigerians who vote on rotation and zoning basis for turn by turn looting and corruption.

If the master strategy of Nigerian politics works for him in Lagos for 27 years plus, then why won't it work for him in the entire country? What is the logic for such expectation?

NaijaRoyalty:
…Says Buhari doesn’t have my kind of money

However, Buhari doesn’t have the kind of money I can steal neither does he have the money I can collect. He doesn’t even have the money for Lagos votes. So, whatever I promise, it’s for real and is coming from my pocket. It’s not until I go to Alausa before I get money to give you.”

Addressing APC supporters on the need to deliver votes, Tinubu said handsome cash rewards await those who can deliver votes for the party.

He said he would not make mistakes of the past where people would collect money in advance and not deliver on election day.

Tinubu added, “Those of you that say you come to Bourdillon for mobilisation, it is mobilisation that we are doing here or don’t you understand? Definitely, if you know people in your neighbourhood, our members, how we used to do.

He will lose some votes for sure and he will win some as well. Northern Christians voted against him in 2023, they are now open to supporting him in 2027. All northern governors are now in APC, most of them want to run in 2031 so the President's victory is a big priority.

It will be enough sir. The person bleeding votes is Atiku, he has lost out in Rivers
He never won rivers in the first place. Whatever he loses in the south he will gain in the north. Makinde will eat Tinubus votes in Oyo like a rat.

Still conjectures but this will be a solid ticket. Congratulations in advance to Waziri Atiku Abubakar and Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi.

All of these and the drama in the ndc are meant just for our entertainment tbh. I see no one amongst these clowns who can upstage Tinubu at this point.
In the real world of politics, Tinubu is gone. Those whose hope hangs on the balance of political banditary, manipulation, jagudaism, agberoism, snatch and run, financial inducement, etc are the only ones still banking on Tinubu's emergence in 2027. It's going to be a different ball game altogether. No one can predict the consequence of things for now. The future remains oblique.

The opposition is already in disarray. The 2027 election would be much easier for President Tinubu than 2023, as the opposition remains deeply divided. The OK Movement appears to favour Kwankwaso in 2031, when power is expected by many to shift back to the North, while Atiku's political prospects seem to be fading.

The reality is that, to unseat President Tinubu, the opposition would need to unite under a single platform. That was what Atiku appeared to be trying to achieve, but the opportunity has already passed. Anything short of that unity risks leaving the opposition chasing a phantom electoral victory while merely providing talking points for its supporters and keypad warriors.

Where will Tinubu's votes come from? In 2023, he got defeated by Obi in the South, winning only 4 Yoruba states out of 17 Southern states. He became president because of the 5.6m Northern votes. Atiku has barely lost a voter from his 6.9m votes in 2023 but he has made huge incursions into the North with the demise of Buhari and Tinubu's betrayal of the Northern allies that helped him to galvanise votes.
U always take pleasure in deceiving yourself, after the general election u will shout rigging.

Atiku should just continue wasting all the money he stole from us. The kind of money this man looted when Obj made him the chairman of the National privatization committee back in the early 2000s is legendary. He literally used his cronies to buy up all the juicy national assets that the government was privatizing back then. Infact Obj once said that the money Atiku stole from Nigeria will take a very large family 600 years to finish!!! Even the US authorities were shocked when they found $600 million sitting comfortably in the account of that his favorite Ogbanje wife from Onitsha, Jennifer Atiku back in 2005 when money still get value oo. $600 million just in the account of his favorite wife? Just one of her account oo? So just imagine the ones in her other accounts, plus the ones in his dozens of other wives and mistresses's accounts plus Atiku's own accounts plus his physical assets plus the ones he's hiding in the accounts of his cronieshuh Chai!!! All Naija politicians deserve a VIP place in Hell!!!
what about tinubu? Is he corrupt

In 2023, you didn't see the voters defy governors? Besides, what's Tinubus selling point? Every governing index seems to stand against him.

Besides, the Christian areas you're talking about are slippery. Let him just make sure he's in the good books of the Catholics as well as other northern Christian denominations. This is because once obis campaign gains momentum, it'd have the potential of upstaging Tinubu. Remember, the Mu-Mu ticket is still as much a factor as hunger and insecurity.

Atiku and Obi joint ticket would have been the only combo to unseat Tinubu. Both Atiku and Obi should just say bye bye to presidency.
The same stupid game they played in 2023 is about to repeat itself again. Did they not study the votes they got in 2023 to see that working together would have been the best bet for them . Greed is a very dangerous thing in politics.
