good evening all, I need help I'm having trouble with my maxi induction cooker, the induction cooker keep going off on it own while the red power light remain on, I notice that d fan does not come on and when the cooker reaches certain temperature it will just stop working while the power light is still on
It’s either the cooling fan is bad or the thermostat is malfunctioning. First check the label on the fan to see the voltage specs whether 12v dc or 220v ac so that you can test the fan with external power source and then change it if it’s bad. Without the cooling fan running when in operation, the thermostat will overheat and cut off power from the heating element.

you've already diagnosed your problem already. Get a screwdriver and open that boy up and check for any cut/melted wires and check if fan is still okay.

This is the blue INEC battery, I was about getting this battery back then from the guy in Kano. Some of the cells would have been dead already because the battery don tey o. How long have you been using it before traveling? Just dismantle the cells and take out the good ones and recouple if you have the technicality
The one I have (not exactly this in the picture) is just around a year old. So surprised because it's not been that long, like it's not been many years.

As for the batteries how do I know the ones that are good?

Can you please share more on the technicalities, like what I need to check and how exactly to check

you might need external charger.. does it have Bluetooth app?
By external charger how do you mean please. Because it has it's own charger that I use to plug into NEPA light.

I use charge controller to check if it comes up, don't know about Bluetooth app for it

You need to confirm the form factor of the cells used--- prismatic or cylindrical. Check if it has a bms too. Do these and revert.
Thanks.
However this would be tough for me because I don't have the technicalities.

Which tools do I need to work, and I'll appreciate if there's any YouTube tutorial for it
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by lovediehatelive(m): 8:56am On Jun 12
fuckboys:
if you can bypass the bms and connect the cells individually directly to a 3.5v charger and maybe it should wake some.
I would appreciate if there's any YouTube video guide to this because I have no idea how to byepass or how BMS operates. Thanks

AyobamiOluwole:
Connect it directly to your solar panel for a few minutes.
I've joined the wire directly from the battery to the direct wire from solar panel without using charge controller but nothing came up.

so sorry bro, I pray it is not one of this China batteries that they do not honour warranty claims or provide support, normal a Lifepo4 battery full charged 4 month ago shouldnt die like this.

Or perhaps they used cells that were closed to end of life to packaged them in a new box with their brand, bassdow and other guru, please any suggestion to help this brother
Thanks for your concern.

Actually it's a packaged battery more like DIY and not from a brand.

Maybe they used substandard batteries for it

Obviously, you have cells that are damaged. Get yourself a multimeter or just take it to an electrician close to you that has a multimeter (I advise you get yourself one) and check the voltage of each cells. Any cell that pulls up to 3V and above is still ok, and anyone that pulls below 2.5V is no longer ok (likely a bad cell), while anyone that doesn’t indicate any voltage is gone.

This way, you are able to find out how many cells are still running fine.

You sure say you get Idea of what you doing ?

Output from solar panel especially the voltage is not stable, often much higher than what the battery might actually need.

There's a level something would get to, without the necessary knowledge + technical knowHow, you better off outsourcing to those who know better.
If you continue blindly following guesses, and things goers wrong, na only you e go affect. Sometimes we wey dey guess, might know better BUT since we don't have direct access to said thing, wouldn't be able to know what and what not to suggest.
There's a reason Doctors of all levels don't do prescriptions online.

Hopefully I'm mistaken

Give it a try, worst that can happen is that it will shut down due to overload. You Unplug it and reset your System.

Can you please post the link you used in buying it on Konga, here.
And how much was it?
I am considering buying one for one Hostel Student who needs it badly.

Pls get a technical person around that can help you with this, your response shows clearly that you can't handle this. Where do you stay?

MSW inverters are not strong, that your 2kw msw inverter might not be more than 400w actual power, don't try it with the induction cooker

Seems this is beyond kick and start.

I'll look for a technical person

Please house, how many amp should I be greeting from 2 300watts mono panel with pwm charge controller on a 12v battery system..
Cos I'm only getting 10amp at the peak of the sun, which I think it's too small

What you are experiencing is not abnormal. That is the very limitation pwm has. For a 12v system on pwm, highest panel size you should have used is 200w. 200w x 3 in parallel, would serve you better than 300w x 2 in parallel. Only advice I have is for you to get an mppt and series the 2 300w panels.
