Which tax did he increase? The subsidy removed was the money borrowed to pay for subsidised fuel.
.you just don't get it do you?

Then what's sensible to you when even something so elementary isn't.

Compare the 2.5yrs of the past presidents with ya Tinubu own ...

It's still simple when I think about it.
The article is about addressing a misconceptions peddled by Peter Obi who claimed that Tinubu has borrowed more than all governments since 1999.

Nonsensical comparison.
You are comparing Buhari's 8 years( 2015-2023)to Tinubu's 2.5 years (May 2023 - Dec. 2025).
Why don't you compare Buhari's first 2.5 years to Tinubu's 2.5 years, then we can talk.
Debt debt and debt. Nobody talks about what it was used for. In the mind of Nigerians:
If I borrow $1million and use for recurrent expenditure and
My friend borrows $20million and use it for capital expenditure.

To ordinary Nigerians I'm a better manager. I don't know where we learned this type of financial management. That's how one man braggs about how he locked up state money in a private bank and left the state with total infrastructure decay and development denial.

What kind of defense are you putting up. We are talking of borrowing here. Stick to the subject matter? Haven't tinubu removed subsidies and increased taxes? Did buhari do those?
How did he increase taxes? Have you started to pay the new tax? Tax wasn't increased. I don't know where you gullible ones got your news from. On the subsidy issue. Nigeria was borrowing to pay subsidy under buhari. Reason NNPC wasn't remitting to the federation account. Now, we just stop borrowing to pay subsidy. We still have debts to pay on the ones we borrowed. To add, Nigeria is currently using hundreds of thousands of barrel of crude oil to settle some financial obligations effected by buhari's government.
Some of you are so ignorant of the mess Nigeria is in. So, when some of you talk about bringing subsidy back, I just SHM for you. Nigerian youths are uninformed and seem to be OK with it.

Yes! Because the new Tax Reform hasn't taken effect yet. It's the old format that's still in play
