How is this news please? This na normal na, it will only be news worthy, if they found out that funds were not diverted. Dem thief palliatives meant for the old, weak and vulnerable, na com food for those in prisons?

I just tire for this country. Now na tinubu dem go blame. When the people who have the responsibility to feed inmates are cutting corners.

Till our workers can live a decent life with what we pay them and afford basic necessities of life. The system will continue to fail. That's the root cause of all our problems. It doesn't help our conscience to fight corruption headon

The day I heard that some people were diverting trailers of rice meant for IDP camps, I knew the capacity of some people to do evil could make the devil jealous!

Imagine scamming refugees and prisoners.

of N3000 for inmates (N90k/ month)
while free men are being paid N70k
minimum wage to cover feeding, transport,
accommodation & medicals.👎👎👎

They may just be the biggest beneficiaries because no proper monitoring to ascertain accountability.

All these useless probes by panels of investigation to make everybody think that this government is monitoring government expenditure. How can such massive theft by government officials in a government agency be uncovered in multiple states at a time and yet not a single person was named or held accountable for this incident? In a saner clime, heads should have rolled by now, but instead of the culprits to be fished out and dealt with, the appropriate step their genius mind could come up with was to increase the daily allocation from N750 to N3000. And by doing so, this would stop future thefts from occuring. Nonsense

The seem to only increase the allocation from #750 to # 3000 per inmate feeding and mechanize farming so that the corruption can further spread.

Lol.. corruption is the only bane of Nigeria development. Corruption is everywhere in the civil and public service and the politicians. The only solution to this entity called Nigeria is to divide and go our separate ways peacefully. Nigeria has never worked; and it can never work. The people are too bad and corrupt. The least should be to go back to regional governments. Corruption is what is causing insecurity and poverty in the country. Let us all divide or at least regionalise
