The wife of one of the teachers abducted from Ahoro Eshiele Community High School in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State has made an emotional appeal to the government, urging authorities to intensify efforts to secure the release of her husband and others still in captivity.

Speaking amid growing concern over the prolonged abduction, she lamented that it has been one month since her husband was taken, leaving her alone to care for their children.

According to her, the children continue to ask about their father’s whereabouts, making the situation increasingly difficult for the family.

She pleaded with the government and security agencies to take every necessary step to bring the victims home safely, expressing fears over the harsh conditions they may be facing in captivity.

The woman said she constantly worries about their wellbeing, especially with reports of rainfall and exposure to difficult conditions in the forest.

She called for compassion and urged authorities not to abandon the abducted teachers and pupils as rescue efforts continue.

They are always arguing blindly and their guts reeks foolishness and to make it worse, a governor is negotiating with bandits.

Now read the second paragraph and imagine it happened to you will you allow for negotiation with such people?

Prolly you don’t get the angle I am coming from let me break it down properly.

Firstly, the issue of mass kidnapping should be prevented by all means possible to avoid issues of negotiations.

Secondly, the issue of pardoning or repentant bandits should not be a thing because it encourages others to go into it.
It makes no sense to me that a bandit that killed a lot of people was caught and suddenly tagged “repentant”

Finally the security in such area should be held responsible for such attacks because it looks coordinated there is a Judas somewhere until then this menace will not stop as government will keep giving excuses.
