But on a second look, Buhari, while seeking this same presidential office you talked about,was credited to have said that he will soak the baboons and dogs in blood.
And we all saw what happened in Kaduna,Kano and Bauchi when the 2011 presidential election results was announced.
How the coppers mainly of southern extraction were cut and roasted as Babecue.

Prior to 2015 presidential election,he was also credited as saying that "A fight against Boko Haram is a fight against the North".
Did that stop Nigerians from voting for him?
No,it didn't.
He became a 2 term president of Nigeria even with those statements that has national security implications.

My writeup was strictly about how Tinubu is a more brilliant, calculative and intelligent human than Obi based on what Obi just said. The former is someone who knows when to speak, what to say and when to remain silent but the silly you addressed none of that only to derail to how he’s now supporting what he was criticizing Jonathan for. Obi was not honest in anyway in his statement regarding Kanu's present predicament.

Obi lied that Kanu is being held for merely insulting people.

This is not what he was arraigned for and convicted of.
