pdppower:Samuel Eto'o got the award because he did very well both in his club and country and he even won the Nations Cup. If Okocha had won the Nations Cup, he would have been given the award. But he was just unlucky. We can't overlook Eto'o's effort that culminated in trophies for Okocha's talents that ended trophyless. |

When will FIFA award him as the record holder of most dribble in a single world cup match , set 32 years ago against the famous Maldini, costacurta led defence of Italy ? 16 successful dribbles with the closest to that coming only four years ago with 15 dribbles by Jamal musiala . Time really flies I remember watching that game I remember celebrating Sunday Oliseh's winning goal which was a thunder Luis Enrique of PSG coach and the wonder kid Raul of Real Madrid all participated in that match I can only remember okocha doing some magical foot works Why did it take FIFA this long to recognize his input? |
