Exploratory Analysis:

The socio-economic situation in Nigeria is "fair" compare to the extremely negative description, Nigerians give it.

Often when Nigerians say - "Nigeria is bad" or "the government is useless" - it basically points to the same "Nigerians" and these Nigerians make the country called "Nigeria."

"Democracy is for the people - by the people - and of the people" - so why are the same Nigerians indirectly condemning themselves?

*They are the people receiving democracy.
*They are the people voting the leaders and the people holding the offices.
*They are the people, the system exist for.

The identity of a Nigerian is a common behavior - "disobedient". When a typical Nigerian expects democracy to work, he is essentially excluding himself from the criticism he lashes out on the government.

The typical Nigerians may say - the government caused their current behavior - some religious leaders may say the devil is the cause-effect.

Some Nigerians would also exclude themselves from the rest of Nigerians they are criticizing - and that's the exact pattern with the rest of the already criticized Nigerians.

So far, so good, democracy in Nigeria has been more lenient and more comfortable than any other system of government. If Nigerians don't like the current system of government - then there's a huge guarantee they won't like another system of government that they've been clamoring for.

Nigerians love freedom - not bondage. Typical reason why Nigerians will always be Nigerians.

If democracy hasn't worked, it's because you are expecting Nigeria to change without any willingness from you to change as well.
