Americana, you can do the conversion yourself.

FCMB is a Nigerian bank and the announcement is basically for Nigerians and Nigerian government. Naira is our currency here in Nigeria.
Convert it to dollars and you will see that the bank is not even in the top 100 globally

All these banks with their "funny" profit declaration every year.. but when the cbn raises minimum capital requirement, you ll see them issuing new shares, because they don't have enough in their retained earnings to meet it.

Well, except they are ghost earnings
What is funny about there profits declaration?

Banks are declaring hundreds of billions naira profit while the main sector banks are supposed to support, the real, manufacturing sectors are collapsing and jobs are being lost. Most of the profits are from charges imposed by the Tinubu government on the banking masses not by the bank doing businesses with the deposited money. Tinubu has made the banks and the politicians stupendously rich at the expense of the masses.
