This morning’s attack on Beirut should not have happened, particularly on a special day when we are so close to a Peace Deal with Iran.

Israel has the right to defend itself against threats, but the attack it was responding to was very small and meaningless, nobody was hurt, injured, or killed, and should not disrupt this important process. We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region, including to Lebanon, and all sides should stand down.

There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there should also be no more attacks by any other party, including Hezbollah, against Israel. This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace — Let’s not blow it! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Trump is about to throw Israel under the bus. Iran just indicated that it might not sign the agreement with the US today. They know Trump has backed himself into a corner. Oil executives are beginning to warn Trump that the reserves a good number of countries have relied on to stabilise prices of crude, are dangerously low. The war needs to end now or the consequences for the price of global crude will be dire. Trump is sweating already and that's why he called Netannyahu today to yell at him.

Iran knows all this and it is what they planned for. That's why they are in no rush to sign anything. They want to exact maximum gains from the US as possible. We are already hearing about 24 Billion dollars being released to Iran (their own money though) but this figure may get as high as 300 billion dollars because that's how much of Iranian money that western banks have seized.

Donald Trump has in effect, lost this war.
