What about the House of Representatives member Mr. Abejide from Kogi State, who just decamped to APC?
The Rep guy that was allegedly said to stay behind to scatter ADC. Was he not an ADC member before now? Just asking.
Don't know a thing about him.

But if he had signaled his intentions to contest under the ADC , the electoral act automatically bars him from contesting under another platform.

Atiku could join another party tho, since he can argue that by a court judgement ADC was not recognised by law so his emergence as the ADC candidate can not be used to disqualify him from seeking another platform from contesting .

But this will only happen if a political party he is going to decamp to ask their candidate whom they have since sent their names to INEC agrees to step down for Atiku but the party must also have met INEC conditions of having performed to the barest minimum requirement in the last elections .

Thanks for providing this clarification.

This would certainly go all the way to the Supreme Court but the time is too short to come to a conclusion that may deregister the parties.

Any attempt to deregister the parties NOW would lead to huge conflagration in the polity. It is too late to bring these up now.
You are right.
They would delay the final judgement to see how Atiku will perform.

Over 60% of Tinubu’s votes came from the North in 2023 with Buhari’s help.

After Buhari passed, Atiku became king of the NE and NW. With Atiku and Kwankwaso on the ballot, voters are highly unlikely to vote for Tinubu.

You know very well that if the voters in the North are strongly against a candidate, the politicians don’t force them otherwise because the region can be volatile. You can’t win election without grassroots support

This legal tussle is a desperate attempt to stop Atiku.
Northerners as masters of politics don't usually put all their eggs in one basket. You'll be shocked last last Tinubu will still win the north.

which one is Tinubu, is it Tinubu that said they should win any elective positions or what. Oga read the message before typing
If it is not Tinubu and his fear of Atiku, then why deregister ADC that has a Kogi rep in the NASS huh

Tinubu's gross incompetence and his own self assessed total failure in governance is making him pee in his pants ahead of next year's election.

May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu

According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this administration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.”

On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.

Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President.

Did I say so?

The only true democracies are the Nordic countries.

Zero lobby groups .

Campaign fundings and budgets are pegged.

Zero violence or rigging .

And every party accepts the choice of the people.

That's the only place you will see true democracy at work and it's because these countries are real nations composed of same people and with a high standard of living and sound education.
Well articulated. Couldn't agree more.

How come you didn't know....

..you didn't know that Atiku will Command all his supporters, structures and followers to Decamp to the OK camp?

You didn't know?

Everyone in ADC (with whom Obi had already shared Brotherhood) will collapse all their structures and supportbases to Obi!!

Obi and Atiku will go into a kind of Power-sharing agreement and work together.

Why didn't you know this.

Please Tell me; I'm doing an experiment/research on the Topic; "Influence of the Brain hemispheres on the NeuroMotor impulses in Human thoughts;Nigerian voters as a case study"

Why didn't you see that Obi's chances has just been boosted?

I don't see ADC coming out of this, even the supreme Court will uphold the judgement.
😂😂😂 What make you think Obi is going to win the general election against Tinubu if ATIKU is not on the ballot?

The north will not vote Obi, let me give you reasons.
1. The north doest not trust the Igbos, after what happened to Ahmadu Bello

2 . The north would rather let Tinubu finish his
second term and leave, than vote for another southerner who could seek for second term after his first four years. ( North will never trust Obi to go for just one term)

3. Obi is very unpopular in the core north.

4. The " yes daddy" audio release is very much in the heads of the northerners who believes Obi hate Islam.

These are some of the things that will work against Obi, he can't win against Tinubu. I'm not Tinubu supporter, but the truth is very clear.
Tinubu does not see Obi as any threat to his second term, that is why you hardly hear him talk about him. The only person that has the power to wage war against his second term ambition is ATIKU, that is why he's taking care of him from all angles.

Why do you think El rufai is in detention? It's because he knows with him and ATIKU together, his chances of winning large votes in the north is very slim. Obi can not defeat Tinubu in this coming election, take it or leave it. By January 2027, everybody eyes go clear.

The highest the obedients would do us cry rigging and they would be told to go to court to prove the election was rigged. We all know what would be the outcome if that happens.

In short, BAT should quietly go to Sambisa where they started....

Bladderash.
A lot of Northerners are uneducated and follow whatever their Imam/elites says.

The question is, who can spend the most to sway their elites or imams?

Because, between Atiku and Tinubu, the difference would have been religion.

If Obi convert to Muslim tomorrow, he will win Nigeria handsdown
