We should respect our host and treat them the ways we want to be treated. Talking down on our host will block a lot of good things for other people who have good intentions.

The land use act says, all lands in the state belong to the governor and he or she has the right to revoke any title ( wether C of O, government consent or deed of assignment) of land given to anybody.

In Lagos, Hausas ( Aliko Dangote and Abdusamad Rabiu) are the highest tax payers in Lagos but I have never seen or heard an hause mentioned they built Lagos or they own Lagos. Stupid ignorance like illbliss should stop making life difficult for good and hard working Igbos in Lagos who go around minding their business.

Nigerians need to learn to stop being petty and prioritize things that are important only.......the only thing that is expected of his fellow kinsmen(that's if they should do anything at all) is to condemn and distance themselves from his utterances.

And as for the so called "hosts" .... whether he says this from today to tomorrow it won't translate into reality and neither is it a crime.... simply just ignore him until he crosses the red line then you tag the authorities to put him in his place.... doing otherwise is as good as the xenophobia y'all are complaining about.

Lagos belongs to Every Nigerian irrespective of where you come from. This mentality of Yoruba own Lagos is really affecting our common heritage as a nation. A few days ago i typed a tweet that stated that the igbos had contributed commercially to the incredible growth in Lagos, alongside other tribes. A bunch of derogatory tweets responded in attack asking we should vacate Lagos and return to our erosion filled land. i was upset and responded rather harshly in these words “ we bought all your land and will resell to you” . i have always been baffled at how hostile certain factions have been towards igbos when it comes to developing areas outside the south east. i apologize if you found my comments brash. it wasn’t intended to tarnish Lagos, a state that has accommodated us all and supported our art , our business and our growth. for many years. Any Nigerian having to apologize for living in Lagos is as absurd as an Englishman apologizing for living in London, a South African for living in Johannesburg, an American for living in New York, a Brazilian for living in Rio de Janeiro, etc. Lagos is the economic capital of Nigeria and also its melting pot and nerve centre.

Of course this takes nothing away from the historical ethnic Yoruba identity but in my view no one should reduce Lagos to a tribal enclave. It is a city of international standing with a rich mix of culture and commerce.
