The law says if as a political party, you don’t win any seat in the state or federal legislature or did not get 25% of vote cast during the elections, you will be deregistered as a political party. Is is clear, they are just relying on sentiment .

The only way they can survive is if the appeal court or Supreme Court declares the law unconstitutional

Keep quiet. Tinubu pushing his luck how? From the mouth of an Atiku supporter?

Atiku who wanted to directly replace Buhari in 2023 meaning it could have been 16 unbroken years for Fulanis in power?

Tinubu will win in January comfortably.
Keep quiet.

Tinubu is a capital FAILURE. A failed president who could not protect the citizens of his country.

It's only shameless people that keeps supporting this failed man. May bandits keep kpaiying all his supporters.

North is gone to the terrorists.
West is gone to the terrorists.
South maybe going....
East, No way...

Verdict... Tinubu is a big failure only supported by terrorists, bandits and kidnappers.

This might be the end of this country, setting the stage for a total breakup that's we have been waiting for. Make e happen peacefully jare. North go just say: "What part have we in T and what inheritance have we in SW. To your tents O Fulas". That will save us a lot of wahala.
Pls, let it happen. Let this silly mistake from T leas to that o. We are tired!

And would that be a crime? The Southwest had 8 years of Obasanjo presidency and then 8 years of Osinbajo as Vice, and now, Tinubu is currently President. It's the turn of the South but which of the South? Monkey dey work, baboon dey chop.
All these rubbish that you people use to say about turn by turn, if that is the case, why do everyone from the four region use to contest every election. Why waste such amount of money to buy form and campaign for election you know it is not your region turn. Nigerians and the leaders en

The only reason why the NDC isn't affected by this is that Obi hadn't joined the party yet as at when this suit was filed. So NDC was not listed among the parties to be deregistered. This is clearly the handwork of the APC.
If you doubt me, watch as they go for the NDC next.
Who's this?

When was NDC registered? You read the judgement to know why they will be deregistered?

Peter Obi is a visionary leader.
He foresaw what is happening today far back.
That was why he quickly jumped ship to NDC.
I knew this was their game planned since the day Obi joined ADC.
Because I don't see any reason Bala Gombe should wake up from sleep to challenge the leadership of the party which he was a party to their selection and inauguration in court.
Since that gimmick failed, they now resorted to winning elective post or 25% wins in an election.
Obi sabi pass them and he jumped am passed.

There may be a very heavy protest across the nation that will make this election not to hold.
If oppositions are strangled, things will get outta hand
….opps are not strangled. We got PDP LP, NDC , and 15 other parties.

Our judges should try out some auditions for slots in Big Brother reality show....

They are also good in stand up comedy.

Allow Tinubu to keep pushing his luck. They have engaged the services of multiple polling firms and analysts that keep telling them that Tinubu has no pathway to re-election. Hence, the desperation you see. In law, this is called fait accompli.

Not only does the ADC have elective positions, the ruling was given in defiance of a court of appeal judgement that had ordered the matter to not be heard until November. Tinubu and Wike are in panic mode and this judgement was meant to erase news of Amaechi's selection as Atiku’s Vice. Just as the Nafiu Bala fiasco by INEC was done on the day Kwankwaso joined the ADC. "The guy is gone!"
We'll be waiting for your protest. You guys think you have the monopoly of werey.

But is it proper for party to remain inactive but collecting money from government every cycle. Why not win your local government or get 25% in a state?

Nothing will happen even if supreme court rule same.
NDC will soon go same way since it was registered based in court order. Just vacate the order and NDC is no more.

I love intelligent people.

The Court of Appeal lacks judicial power to overrule the Supreme Court and expect any trial court to obey its order over same legal issue.

By implications, all candidates on the de- registered political parties namely, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (ADC )Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State(Accord Party,AP) ,Dr Najeem Salam ( ADC) Oriyomi Hamzat (ADC) etc can no longer contest as candidates of these defunct and de-registered political parties unless there is a judgement of the Appellate Court, setting aside the judgment of Lifu J.

The courts want to set nigeria on fire. U dont make judgements like this now when u had almost 3 years and even weeks ahead of inec deadline decide on such cases? Only under tinubu we see such nonesense. Obvious this nonesense will be appealed undecided

What's Obi without doing the right things?. NDC was registered based on court order but not on following INEC procedures. Na Obi mumu pass because he was desperate to be on the ballot without his own party. This game will be sweet when Obi party is also taken to court.
