Unfaized:Which stuff did you reduce? What inverter do you use? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Unfaized: 6:50am On Jun 16 |
NSEstudent:The charging current. I use Haisic 24v 4.2kva inverter. Do you use gen in charging ur system? |

prince4pro2:Hopefully you wouldn't have needs for UPGRADIng anytime soon. Goodluck |

OgogoroFreak:You sef see gap na. Seems you wanna feed your generator engineer. Even the best original Generator with complete capacity go still sick. Except your DeYe inverter was over rated which is very rare as they are original. No need telling you not to as you already knew the answer hence reason you asked. Hope say no be the ogoGoRo dey Freak you sha |

Unfaized:I see. Reducing grid charging current may do the work. Problem is if the inverter handles it correctly. I don't charge with gen. I do charge with grid if absolutely needed, especially on very bad days and days the storage was overused. |

Hello My people Please I discovered that my Inverter (itel hybrid 3.6kva) no longer charges from the grid. When ever I turn on the breaker, I get error 3 and the inverter stops. From the manual, it states the error is Bus Voltage Low This occurs only when I turn on the grid breaker while attempting to charge. Charging from the panel is working fine Please can this be fixed or where can I take it to for repairs... Would appreciate feedback based on your experience.... Thanks

NSEstudent:Oh well it's different. I was talking about my experience charging with gen. With grid it's not an issue. It bloodied my gen and after a while it couldn't handle it anymore. A 3.5 kva gen, now it can't handle 0.75hp submersible. |

Topper33:Sorry to hear this but grid is a very very dirty electricity. I cannot plug any appliances without full protection. If your pv is large enough, why grid? Manage your load wisely and stay out of grid completely. Some 16kwh 48v geng still use grid after installing 12 to 16 panels. I get fully amazed when I hear this. However, try check the voltage of the grid if is high enough. |

Unfaized:Replace the avr. Most gen these days are aluminium |

Unfaized:was your generator an inverter generator? Mine is inverter generator that produces cleaner energy than regular generator. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Unfaized: 8:50am On Jun 16 |
dollarnaira:I see. An original Sumec Firman o. Got an idea how much AVR cost? The problem is when I put on a relatively heavy load like the Submersible, it starts jerking and then goes off. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Unfaized: 8:50am On Jun 16 |
OgogoroFreak:Oh. Inverter gen should do way better. Got no idea sha coz I've never owned one. |

Hello all, Trust we're good. Has anybody here heard of Luxpowertek 6kva/15kwh Eco Beast Solar System? I want to get installer/user insights before I fully decide. However, I'll attach device specifications/image so that experts can look at and advise accordingly. Thank you in advance.

Unfaized:Change mine last 3 months around 7k. Gen was overly abused for welding - a 2.0/2.2kva max Tigmax gen with great copper coil. |

Thanks alot dollarnaira: |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by NSEstudent: 10:06am On Jun 16 |
Unfaized:Do you not think that if the inverter was efficiently drawing a max of 500W from your Gen, no problem or damage would have occurred to your Gen if its capacity rating is also true? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by micxwell(m): 10:09am On Jun 16 |
Topper33:Do you have voltage protection before your inverter to the grid? I don't think there's any problem with your inverter, if the minimum under voltage on your inverter is set to 180v and your grid is less than 180v, it will not work. What's the voltage showing on your Avr? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by micxwell(m): 10:14am On Jun 16 |
NSEstudent:Definitely, limiting the charging current to what the generator can comfortably handle will work but that will meaning more charging duration. |

dollarnaira:Ok, thanks. The continuous load is not indicated, but I believe it will be some where 800w. |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Penuelseun(m): 11:34am On Jun 16 |
Topper33:I don't think there is anything wrong with your inverter, what is your mains voltage? If your inverter is in ups mode, it will trip off if the voltage goes below 180v |
