Adeleke: Accord deregistration ruling violates appeal court order — we’ll be on the ballot Ademola Adeleke, governor of Osun, says the judgement of the federal high court in Abuja which ordered the deregistration of Accord and four other political parties is a direct violation of a subsisting order of the court of appeal.https://www.thecable.ng/adeleke-accord-deregistration-ruling-violates-appeal-court-order-well-be-on-the-ballot/

On what basis did the Appeal Court issue an order stopping the trial court from giving judgement in a case it has jurisdiction to hear? That in itself is an abuse of court process. You cannot abuse the court process by trying to use the appeal court to stop the high court from performing its constitutional duties only to turn around and accuse the trial court of abuse of court process. That's wrong. Whatever the case is, the High court has given judgement and the judgement remains valid until it is set aside by a superior court. Till then, Accord is no longer a recognized political party in Nigeria. |

Kalashnikov49:I am from SW, Adeleke is from SW. Even this matter has absolutely nothing to do with anybody's ethnicity. But then, you're a Peter Obi supporter so you're not expected to see any public discussion beyond your bigoted prism. |

I think the electoral acts also permits individual candidates. So even if Adeleke stands as an independent candidate, he will still win by landslide. |

They're plotting to have you unseated as governor, you better open your eyes and make sure they get no vote from your state. If not for the appeal court that is how they will have removed you from the ballot 🗳️, it is even more shocking that you said on Friday you will support that same person for the presidency. Politics na very dirty game and the players are even dirtier than a pigsty. Them go stab you for back, come your front ask you why you dey bleed 🩸. Alex also will be betrayed at the last minute, what they're after is a one party country that is why it is unwise for any opposition to think he is secure by supporting the central. |
