Please come and clarify this statement. So islam came to yoruba land through the Sea? grin

stuffs2002:
Your hatred has blinded you.

Islam came to Lagos through the sea because of the Muslim sea travellers who settled in Lagos.

Islam spread from Lagos to other neighbouring south west states and you can hate the truth all you want

All major languages are already being taught in schools. That is not the problem. Children who are born in a particular state, raised there and go to school there grow up with the understanding of the ideologies of that particular state. A lot of Igbos who grow up in the Southwest speak Yoruba as their first language; eat and dress like Yoruba. Why is it a problem for them to identify as indigenes of those states in their official documents?

AfDapone:
Until all major languages are taught in all schools to kids so by the time they grow up your ideology will then then make sense. By that time, anyone that goes to any part of the country will find it easy to integrate as least.

Until then, your ideology remains a wish.

An Igbo born in the southwest and speaks Yoruba as first language will always go to his or her local government area in the southeast to obtain certificate of indegeneship to acquire Nigerian passport. Never certificate from where he or she was born in the southwest.

It doesn't matter whether you can speak Yoruba or not

You can't be one of us.

You can't be an indigene.

Jos was never peaceful
Jos has been peaceful, IBB created Jos North LGA which the Hausa/Fulani ethnic wanted ruling with force. 1994, 2001, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011-2017 crisis was spearheaded by them. IBB was taken to Appeal court in 2009 on sentiments for creating that.

Okay first things first.... Justice what....tell me it ain't so.... grin

Now, to the less important matter. Why can't we have such courts in almighty Lagos where this same issue is of paramount importance. Justice is really not equal in Nigeria.

What is the use of the Legislature when such issues cannot be resolved peacefully because it is lawful and acceptable by all.

The only solution to Nigeria as a country is peaceful DIVISION. let go our separate ways.

That is the precise issue at play here in Plateau that the judge is ruling against.

I think it will become universal across the country perhaps not today or tomorrow but certainly in decades to come.

And in my opinion that is when Nigeria will become truly united.

Those seeking ethnic enclaves are fighting the last stand, battles they will end up losing.

Islam is nearly 400 years in Yoruba land and you are still talking about someone taking the Qur'an to the sea.

So you think all the Qur'an being read in Lagos for nearly 400 years never got to the sea. Meanwhile there are presently many mosques close to the sea in Lagos.

Justice Omotosho make a big mistake by not giving Nnamdi Kanu a judgement of death by hanging considering all the killings that happened as a result of his activities.

Nnamdi Kanu deserves a judgement of not less than death by hanging
